Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Supreme Moderator Posts: 58 Group: Forum Moderator Member #155 Joined: March 31, 2007	CLOTHES Taken from his own wardrobe when he left his home, Yorishine's outfit is not so passing for that which the common person may buy. His torso is clothed in a loosely-fitted cotton shirt, near pure in white, and buttoned from where the gap starts between his breasts straight up to the second button at his collar, leaving just one level undone. Worn beneath the shirt, which he often wears untucked, are a pair of tanned breeches that also decline to formly fit their wearer. Each pant leg ends mid-calf over long white stockings, barely visible as they hide beneath polished, black buckled boots. Concealing the majority of himself from sight is a single article; the royal navy fabric of a white-trimmed coat, embroidered between coat and trim with a solid pattern of golden thread. His long blonde hair is often held back by a silk black ribbon, stolen from his sister's room the day of his departure. WEAPONS The Sword of Yorishine Astiphon - basket-hilted sword Yorishine's sword was custom crafted for his own hand- his hand as a man, that is. It is a dark sword with a hematite-coated blade. The hilt is of unique detail, with a basket comprised of one twisted loop and a pair of twisting "branches". All of the hilt is gold-plated, with two small, neatly cut rubies donned before the blade on either side, and fine leather strips wrapped about its grip. COMPANIONS Star - palomino mare The one big purchase Yorishine made since he left home was on his faithful mount, a sturdy palomino mare he named Star. Strongly built and with feathered hooves, Star's lineage was clearly one meant more for draft than for speed. Her coat is a golden tan that is boldest at her spine, then fading to a pure white at her legs and dusted so around her mouth and nose. Her light mane is a creamy color- almost white- and upon her forehead is a contrasting black "star"; the purpose behind her name. Although she isn't particularly fast, Yorishine swears he could not have chosen a better horse. A slow pace does not bother him, and even then she makes up for it with her intelligence, as Star is a bright animal more than capable of finding her path. Although Yorishine truly is an experienced rider, he more often than not lets Star guide herself down roads, since he has quite taken to spacing out as of late. She is very amiable and sweet-tempered; easily soothed when alarmed. Being the gentle and reliable mare she is, there could be no animal better for the high-strung Yorishine.
