Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Deleted User	Hi. I understand this is purely a fantasy forum and world, yet given the desires of my character, what realm of machinery can he use ie. make? Golum crafting Clockwork weapons, limbs, devices Black Powder? Flintlock Pistols How much room do I have to work with? Thank-you

I would consider things like being able to actually shoot a cannonball acceptable, as well. So, I guess your standard sort of fantasy with very minimal technology. Clockwork machinery could work, though obviously, since there isn't electricity, it'd have to use magic or something to make it work. Does that help at all?

Deleted User	I have a question on cannons and whatnot. In terms of cannons, what about magical cannons? Like ones that fire magical ammunition versus physical cannonballs? Would that be acceptable? Basically powered by magic.

Though I'd only accept a flintlock pistol. I'd say that Elly is similar to the world(s) of Final Fantasy as far as technology goes, though it's best to ask about specifics than it is to generalize.

Final Fantasy often has relatively advanced technology though =/ 4, 6-10 and 12 DEFINITELY are rather advanced. Even if it's relatively rare in 9 and 10, it's still rather advanced where it is. Unless you want to start allowing machine guns, trains, airships and missiles and all sorts of stuff, I think that's not really a great comparison XD

I already said what would be done concerning guns. That statement refers to everything else - airships, flight, buildings, etc.
