| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Okay, first off, this board looks really interesting and really fun and I really want to join! But before I do, I have one question: I know you have a "one-character-per-account" rule, but would it be possible for me to role-play a pair of blood-related characters on a single account? Because the characters I have in mind are twin sisters (PC) that travel with a gypsie caravan (NPC). I have recently created them and I am really anxious to get them involved somewhere. They're both hold importance to me and I would rather not have one a PC an the other an NPC. So can it be done? |

We do have 'one character per account' rule, but you can have more than one account if you wish to do it that. I understand that since they are twins, you'd probably be RPing both of them at once sometimes though so it would be more convient to have one account. In this case, I'm not sure that would be a problem, however I would wait until Shadow or Kara, the two admins, come on just to be sure. Oh, also if they do share one account, I'd guess that you would still only get 5 simple abilities to start with that those two characters would have to share as well. Because we base the number of abilities that a character gets by their post count, they would probably have to split the total number of abilities that your account would get. But again, this isn't something anyone has asked about before, so just a heads up for when the admins get on. Hope that helps, even a little bit! |

What Sphyx said is correct. =) If these characters will be appearing in the same threads at the same time often (as in, probably at least half the time) then I would go with one account. Though, as Sphynx said, your abilities would be split down the middle, so instead of having 5 for one character at the start, you'd have 2 for one and 3 for the other. It's really up to you, but if one account would work the best for your twins, then go for it. =) This is one of those exceptions, like a character who has a child. |

Hrmm...this leaves me in a pickle...on the one hand, I have one account with two characters that can quickly interact with each other, but have limited (and unbalanced) abilities. On the other hand, I have two separate accounts where each twin has a full set of abilities, but interaction between them might be sporadic and might make me resort to spamming to get conversations between them moving, which is not a good thing. But, after reviewing the abilities tidbit, I figure that I can work this out with only one account. So yeah, one account with two sisters and divided abilities, coming up! =D |
