| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? There is a path through the vines of the Erth'netora Forest that is rather hard to find, but once you stumble across it it is not so hard to follow. The path is rather wide, made for wagon travel and not well suited for travel on foot for it is rather long. At least there is much shade to protect you from the harshness of the sun during the day, yet at night it can be very cold. The path will take you along a river after a few miles from the edge of the forest and lead you deeper into the dense vines, which will not bar your way. The path will dump you off at a lakeside town, something that is quite a sight to see, because no one would have ever noticed it unless they were to follow this road. The town has been here for the longest time and just now has given access to outsiders. But be weary here, chaos is not so welcome in this orderly society of sages, monks, and the occasion psionist. All strong of mind and loyal followers of the master of order and nautre reside here. The town itsself is something quite amazing despite being something so far away from any other cities. Most of the buildings are made of stone and few are made of wood except for the farm house on the edge of the town where odd Cow-like creatures can be found. In the middle of the town is a vast mosaic and is the place where many merchants set up outside shops during the day. Other than that the houses are quite plain with only one or two stories to them. From the town there has recently been made a path that leads to the city of Madrid, though it is still a long trip it's not as difficult as trying to navigate your way through the vines. There are no female residents in Rurakanara, and there never will be, although female visitors are welcome. See the cows here. |
