Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

King of Angkar Posts: 89 Group: Sovereign Member #164 Joined: March 23, 2008 Gender Male Preferred Name Edifus	I was looking though the list of profiles for a certain character who I was in a thread with (Sphynx, if you wanna get technical), and their profile was buried down at page 8. So I thought it would be a good idea to clean out unnecessary profiles from the list. I even bring the following criteria as an example: -Remove all profiles made by accounts that no longer exist (if any) -Remove all profiles that are stupid or obvious jokes (King Arthur) -Remove all profiles that belong to accounts whose last post falls before January 1st, 2007 (and when next year comes around, get rid of anyone who hasn't posted since before 2008) -If anyone has posted a new profile for an old character, perhaps remove the old profile if that hasn't already been done This would clean up the list a lot, and make the relevant characters a lot easier to find when reference is needed.

Would it be better to delete the profiles outright, or to move them into archives so that people can dig them back up if they choose to return? It would take a lot of work to clean up the 9 pages of profiles, but it's a worthwhile endeavour, if others would like to see it a little tidier.

I say if they've enough posts, then we archive them like Shadow said. If there's just ten posts or so on the account, well... blow it up. >.> =3 I'd be glad to help out with this endeavour, Shadow. I think it would be a great idea to move them into the archives. I mean, someone may be gone for almost three years and come back when life isn't as fast paced. In those cases, it'd be nice to be able to find things again. But I agree, some profiles are really hard to find. I've had this problem already. *Note to self: Rewrite Sphynx's profile.

Well, Yori and I, over the course of the next few days, will deal with the profile issue. I'm still not sure whether or not we should smoke profiles or just move them, but I suppose, if a member didn't manage to make more than 10 posts... We'll have to see.
