Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

If he must, he will use a bit of magic to help him get away. He is proficient with the use of bladed weapons (mostly daggers), not that he would use them. Physical Appearance If one were to categorize social standing and class by appearance, Liron would be placed in the upper echelons of society. Warm locks of ginger hair, usually up in a ponytail, fall to a length just past his shoulders, and frame a pale, pointed face. Fine eyebrows of the same shade top a pair of intelligent green eyes, often hidden behind a pair of oval glasses, and an aquiline nose and fine lips complete the elegant face. Fitting in with the rest of Sotoan society, he stands at one inch over six feet, and possesses a slender build, more toned than muscled. He prefers to garb himself in simple shirts and pants, and wears no adornments apart from a simple silver chain, from which a small cross hangs. He carries on him a violin case, strung over his shoulder much like one would a guitar. Personality A pacifist both in theory and in practice, Liron is a gentle man who sincerely wishes no harm upon any person. Though he is often wary of strangers, he is never directly cruel to anyone, even those he dislikes greatly. He has an air of charisma about him and when combined with his ability in diplomacy can result in prevention of a great many conflicts. He appears to be a more moderate person, preferring to not venture too far into either the land of joy or the land of sorrow, because of events that happened in his past. There is an air of wistfulness that lingers around him, but he’s learned to deal with sorrow and see the brighter things in life. A smile usually lurks on his face, and though he is taciturn at times, he’ll never say no to a conversation. Race [ooc: This is all folklore, so it should be pretty self-explanatory. The version I’m used to was slightly different from ‘faery’ in the potential race list and I wanted to make sure you knew where I was coming from. It’s a combination of Arthurian legends as told by Gerald Morris and Holly Black faery tales (and some Wikipedia).] Very similar to both the faeries and the elves, the Fae are magical beings that usually seclude themselves away from humans. They live in a realm different from that of the human world, accessible only by those with Fae blood in them. It is easiest for pure-blooded Fae to enter and exit at will, and progressively more difficult for those with less and less Fae blood in them. They can be human in appearance, though this is oftentimes a result of some magical enchantment or another that they put upon themselves. Their actual appearance can vary greatly, from mostly human to mostly animal. Almost all possess magic of some form or another, usually in the form of enchantments, but with many possessing magic of different natures as well. There is a divide between those of a more benevolent nature and those more malicious and mischievous. History It's coming.....I swear... First Five Abilities Illusion – He can make one object appear to be another. Works only with smaller, inanimate objects (smaller than or equivalent to a medium sized dog). The smaller the object, the longer the illusion lasts and the less energy it requires. On larger objects (dog-sized), it will last a few minutes, basketball sized things will last a few hours, and anything smaller than a tennis ball will last a few days to a few weeks. [ENCHANTMENT] Ambidextrous – He can use both hands to write and use weapons (if he were to use weapons). He is actually better with his left hand than his right hand, though only by a small bit. [SKILL] Natural Instinct – He has a natural affinity with animals, particularly woodland animals. Though he cannot speak to them or directly communicate with them, he understands them far better than the average human, and thus it is easier for him to deal with them (in terms of them listening to him). [SKILL] Sensitivity – As well as being good with animals, he is very sensitive around humans (though part of it is from his Fae blood). He can sense subtle changes in the atmosphere and mood changes in other people (though he doesn’t know exactly which emotions are changing, just that something changed). [SKILL] Mockingbird (violin) – Liron has the ability to hear a song or tune once and then reproduce it on his violin. He is flawless with simple songs, but as the difficulty progresses, he begins to make mistakes.
