Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

This way I can keep it all contained in here... And not have 800 random absence notes posted around. That being said, this is exam week for me. I have an exam Thursday (17), Friday (18), next Tuesday (22), and next Thursday (24). So that means that my activity will drop slightly the days before these finals, increase a bit, and then drop again. So I probably won't be posting much tomorrow, not at all Thursday, and minimally Friday and Saturday. Sunday I work so I won't be around much to begin with, and Monday and Wednesday I'll be studying. Just a heads up.

University begins again for me on Wednesday. This year my classes are spread across the entire week, with two being on M/W/F and me being stuck there until 8 PM on Tuesdays with a 3 hour break (computer time for the win!). This year I'd like to manage my time better so that I have less homework on the weekends, or none at all, and so that I have time to spend with people, friends and family alike. I'm not sure what my schedule will look like since I read mixed reviews on all of my professors, but there was one consensus: most give a ton of reading. But, since I have a lighter load spread across five days, I'm hoping that it'll be easier to get it done (instead of having to do it all for one day). We'll have to see, though. Anyway, if I'm online but not posting, that's why. =) I like to multitask via chatting while doing my hw.

I probably will not be terribly active posting-wise this week or next week. For those wondering why, it's because I have four midterms next week (one of which is a take-home and I have to write two essays on theories, which is ugly in and of itself, let alone applying those theories to something), I have a whole wack of reading that I need to get caught up on and finish for this week and part of next week, and I have to work with a friend in order to finish an assignment for next week. So, yes... I'll be lucky if I start doing any posting Friday or Saturday, which, in Canada, is Thanksgiving anyway, so that idea is probably shot. I'll see what I can do, but there are no promises. Just so you know.

That means posting, though probably not frequently or anything. I still have assignments and essays that I need to write and whatnot, but otherwise... Things should go back to 'normal' now.

This week is basically a crunch for me: tomorrow I'll be finishing off my portfolio for my English class, which includes two more summaries (though I might not do one of them until Tuesday), Tuesday I have class until 8 PM and need to go back over my history essay and my summaries, Wednesday I'll be with my boyfriend, Thursday will be my one free day, Friday I work, Saturday I'm seeing my best friend for the first time in 3 months (hopefully), Sunday I work and I need to study for a final, and that's as far as I'll detail for the time being. My finals are due/on: Tuesday, December 2 Wednesday, December 10 (x2) Monday, December 15 Wednesday, December 17 I have two take-home finals which constitute four essays, two each. So... I will be working hard on those. Basically, for the next two to three weeks, don't expect me to be posting a lot - I have to focus on the end of my semester and my boyfriend and best friend. The internet is dispensible. They are not. So please, for the sake of my sanity, don't pester me for posts. >>;

I'm not sure what my course load will be like - I have 2 history classes, another English class, a language class, and a psych class, all of which are heavy on either reading, memorization, or both. We'll have to see, though. My history classes will probably be the death of me, lol. So, in case activity drops, it's because of uni again.

So, I feel like I'm drowning in assignments and midterms. Essentially, in the next three weeks I have 3 midterms, 3 papers due, and a whole wack of assignments/readings off and on that kind of need to get done if I hope to survive said midterms, as well as my stupid finals. So, as much as I'd love to spend hours and hours online, it probably won't happen, since I need to get some serious research done for my one history paper, among other things. Posting will, evidently, be really slow. I'll be around though, definitely lurking, hopefully dealing with any issues/questions/concerns that come up, and being more on top of things than I have been in the past couple of weeks. In any event, I'll do my best.

My exam schedule is as follows: Friday, April 17 - History Monday, April 20 - English Tuesday, April 21 - Japanese and Psychology Thursday, April 23 - History I have to do a lot of studying, for all of these exams (less for psych, but still pretty intensive) because they all involve essays or me actually knowing things, which makes it all just a tad difficult... So... hardcore studying, amidst posting and relaxing. I'll probably crank out a few posts when I get tired of all the reading and whatnot, though. Try being the keyword here >>; But yeah, after that I'm like... free of school until September.

University officially starts for me on Wednesday. If this semester turns out the way I'm expecting it to, I'm expecting it to be hard. With 2 English classes, an art history class, a psych class, and Japanese, I'm almost guaranteeing that the latter 3 are what are going to get me. English I usually do alright in, even if I don't know what's going on half the time. So... Yes. Decrease in activity for sure - you'll be lucky if you get a post from me each week, let alone more than one. So if you don't, don't start nudging me because I'm liable to rip your face off. >>; Give it two weeks, and then kindly ask how life is or something and I'll give you an indication. The first week should be ok, but evertyhing after that... I'm hoping to learn how to speed read/skim this year so I don't spned 6 hours reading.

As I mentioned in the Cbox, I have to study for a midterm, study for a quiz, finish a 1200 word essay, and start and work on a presentation for Friday. Monday I won't have my laptop with me at school, because my friend and I are going to study together for our midterm, I have editing that night; Tuesday is my dad's birthday, plus I have a ton of Japanese homework; Wednesday and Thursday I should be with my bf, and I don't bring my laptop anymore since my WoW account was cancelled. With any luck I'll be around more actively come next weekend, though I make no promises.

In fact, I'm pissed off. I don't know if my activity is going to improve at all this month, given that I have two midterms to slog (is that even a word?) through, I have to finish my English essay, finish another English essay, apparently do a group project for Japanese that's twice as long in written length as the essay I just submitted, finish my English project within like... 4 days of it being due, and, to boot, I'm averaging about 200 pages of reading per weekend, no matter what I do to try and reduce it. So. Will I be posting very much? Probably not. If I do, go dance on your tables and be happy. Suffice it to say, I'm pissed.
