| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Wondering what each user group means? Look no further! A description of each is below: NPC – Non-Playable Characters. These characters are typically controlled by the administrators and are used for a variety of different things including: the shops, Kingdom guilds or power groups, and the Kindled. Any administrator may use these accounts. Citizen – Any new character arriving in Elenlond. Until you decide whether or not you want to belong to a Kingdom, your character will hold the status ‘Wanderer’. This status is also given to those who have chosen to have their characters belong to a neutral island. There’s nothing particularly special with this title.
Sovereign – Title given to users who choose to play the leader of one of the nations, or another important role, such as a councillor. This title has no bearing OOC and can be attained by anyone. An application form must first be completed and you must be accepted, but those are the only conditions. Your character will (help) rule over one of the many nations and will serve useful in the plots. Members who choose to have a Sovereign character must post at least once or twice a week, unless specified otherwise. They are also advised to keep up with IC plots and events, so that they may participate as much as possible. Moderator – Just a step below the admin, the moderators help to ensure that there is stability and order on the forum. They help moderate the Review Book, moderate posts, issue warnings, and answer any questions that may arise. Overseer – The highest rank in all of Elenlond. People with explicitly good writing that is generally error-free (this includes punctuation, capitalization – grammar, if you will – and spelling) will be asked to become a deity. Any requests made will be IGNORED. If you are eligible, an administrator will Private Message you and detail what you need to know (provided you accept). You are not limited to having these as your user titles. In your profile you will see a rectangular box where you can create your own character titles. Here you can customize something that reflects your character personally. Please note, however, that if we find anything inappropriate written it will be immediately removed.
