Physical Description: The Pheon Bird is a bird of brilliant colors, and was once thought to be related to the phoenix. It is, however, a very different bird. The bird usually has feathers of a metallic color, such as gold or silver, on the body and wingbacks, with a usually darker color, such as red, blue, or dark green, on the inside and edges of the wing. The beak and claws come in the same colors as the body, but does not always match it. Pheon Birds are intelligent and should be treated so. If you insult their intelligence you will get warnings first. Continue and you may get a gouging in the eyes. A Pheon Bird can do all the following: - Communicate telepathically with anyone within twenty feet (fifty if they know the location of the person). - Sing a melody that helps soothe angry feelings. - Use magic to heal minor wounds or help heal large ones. - Dive at speeds of over sixty miles an hour. - All other things that sub-impressions can do. Here are some examples of coloring for the Pheon bird. Main body (body and wingbacks): Silver (including all forms of silver) Gold (From red gold, to golden yellow, to white gold) Bronze (Also ranging from dark bronze to lighter bronze) On the inside and edges of the wings (darker shades): Violets Blues Greens Reds |
