Fallen Faith Her blackened wings upon her back, The heavenly smile she does lack, With tears of blood streaming down, Her blissful lips pulled to a frown, Deep eyes do not sparkle nearly as bright, But are as dark and empty as a cold winters night, Her soft skin so pale, Ebony locks act as a veil, Around her faultless face, This is heavens disgrace, As her gentle hands are placed, All her sins must be faced, Upon her beating heart, As she looks back upon the start, Of loving that being, Only his beauty was she seeing, As she kissed with her blissful lips, Hands then folded upon supple hips, Her eyes then were of a perfect blue, Capturing his very soul in their hue, But the wrath of the one, Makes the others shun, As the fallen angel meets her end, From the worldly laws that never bend, Because she was a messenger from above, Who came to deeply, wholly and truly love, A messenger from below, His kind were hers highest foe, Eternity, forever, for all time, She must pay for her immoral crime, Sitting alone at the edge of humanity, Paying with tears of life for her calamity, One must ask why there must be love, Hurting those middle, below and above, The answer is this, Because just one simple kiss, Paired with a love so profound, Allows any mountain to seem a mound, Simply put love makes you want to give, Even ones right to live |

Pleading Her cries are heard As my heart is stirred She screams for the lost And the agony it has cost My brain is strained While her soul is stained From the memories of long ago Before this life began to bestow Upon a shade in need Of sustenance to feed The hole in this heart As our love was torn apart Before our very eyes Drowning in everyone’s pitiful lies These fangs are a start To this agony in my heart As the angel closes pale blue To protect getting lost in their hue And to save me from this pain My tears falling from the strain Let her free By holding me Release me with a kiss Using your heavenly bliss Or just a soft touch It would not take too much Because our loves are the same This is why you came Releasing the demons inside To the only ones we may ever confide You and I were never mistaken We are here to awaken |

And then she was gone, her hips swinging as the knives jostled her thighs, passing by guards with her head held high, a haughty smile upon her lips.

XD You're not horrible at it! I'm not great at poetry myself. I can usually come up with a verse and then it gives out XD I have a bunch of poems done in such a way. *Wonders what would happen if they were thrown together* It would be... bad... Anyway! You've done an stunning job with both! I would pursue poetry and perhaps take a stab at getting it published ^^ |
