Angkar: Dry season. Often sunny, but precipitation is rare. Humidity is low, some bodies of water may have dried up, and bushfires can occur. The rainforest sees evenly distributed rainfall throughout the season.

Ashoka: Desert: Cooler temperatures, although still relatively hot. Violent, heavy downpours following long dryspells. Jungle: Hot and humid with frequent, violent rainstorms.

Morrim: Calm and generally cool. Thunderstorms and heavy showers are not uncommon, and there is also a chance of snow until late in the season.

Soto: Trees begin to bud and the snow begins to melt, which may cause minor flooding. Although temperatures increase, snowfall early in the season is not uncommon. Low-lying plants grow while the tree cover isn't too dense.

Elenlond is an original free-form medieval fantasy RPG set on the continent of Soare and the Scattered Isles, which are located to the south in the Sea of Diverging Waters. The four chief nations of the western side of the world—Ashoka in northern Soare, Soto in western Soare, Morrim in eastern Soare, and Angkar, the largest of the Scattered Isles—continue to experience growth and prosperity since the fall of the Mianorite gods, although power struggles within the countries—or outside of them—continue to ensue.

Angkar: To honour the reinvigoration of the ancient city of Mondrágon, the majestic Queen Eulalia has permitted the opening of a Coliseum where people from around the world and all walks of life can test their combat skills against one another. Many have already done battle in search of honour, glory, prizes and money.

Ashoka: In an otherwise peaceful times, Ashokans are beset with the relatively minor inconveniences of wandering undead and occasionally-aggressive giant rock worms. There has also been some controversy over the recent re-legalisation of human sacrifice.

Morrim: Rumour has it that Emperor Leofric de Hollemark is mustering forces for a war. Though the threat from Soto’s forests has passed, the forces previously employed in watching the forest now linger at the border. Rumours also circulate of a small group that has been dispatched to make contact with the tribes of the Do’suul Mountains.

Soto: The Sotoans have defeated the fey and liberated themselves from Méadaigh’s oppression! Preliminary efforts have been made at rebuilding the city of Madrid, which had been captured at the beginning of the war. However, the Sotoans are hindered from recovery famine. Méadaigh’s magic caused summer to persist in the Erth’netora Forest through the winter. Her power has been withdrawn and the plants die as if preparing for winter – even though it is now summer. The Sotoans must sustain off what food they can get, what creatures they can kill and what can be imported into the city from Morrim and Angkar.

    Ravanna Elevalon

    Name – Ravanna Elevalon
    Age – 20
    Gender – Female
    Alignment – Neutral Good
    Social Class – Commoner
Occupation – Hunter for a powerful mage; "helper" of Qayin
    Race – Elvish
    Nationality– Morrimian
Weapons– Wooden Recurve Bow and 10 arrows

Physical Appearance – Ravanna is quite beautiful for a commoner. She has blue hair, pale skin, and dark blue eyes. Her ears are pointed as she is Elvish, but she tends to hide them as best she can. Her ears make her stand out more easily, something she doesn't want to happen. She is of average height, around 5' 6", and has a rather thin body. Despite this, she is strong and fit from her hunting skills. She was also born with a small birthmark of a star on her left cheek. Her hands are rough and calloused from her bow, but that does not bother her. She also tends to slightly stand on the front of her feet, as from being light footed with her hunting and stealth. Ravanna tends to wear a green shirt (in the winter this is alternated with a green long sleeve shirt) with black pants and brown boots; these are simply but lightweight clothing that she has considered good for hunting.

Personality – Ravanna knows the difference between right and wrong. Her parents made sure that she learned this at a young age, so she can grow into a good person. While she is at heart, she also knows that surviving sometimes means making moral sacrifices, which is why she steals food for her family, yet sells objects she finds for money. She's a very quiet person and tends to keep to herself, yet will open herself up when she feels comfortable enough around certain people. Ravanna also loves sweet foods, and has a love for sweets. They were a delicacy growing up, and she gets them whenever she can. Despite her hunting skills, when it comes to flight or fight situations, Ravanna always goes for flight, as she tends to try and stay away from as much trouble as she can. Ravanna also tends to be less observant when she is not stealing things or hunting, causing her to be clumsy at times.

History – Ravanna's parents brought her the world the same way she loves to spend her nights: in nature under the stars, as the birthmark on her cheek would remind them of that day. However, that starry night was also a cold winter night, with no place to stay. As her parents struggled to keep their newborn safe from the winter air, an old mage stumbled upon them. Seeing the small child, he lead them to his home ad warmed them. However, the cold had a hold of Ravanna and, in a moment of pity, the mage declared that he knew his time on Elenlond was soon over, and the time had come, and that they could take what they needed. With a hand on Ravanna's head, he used the last of his magic to bring her from the brink of death, and as her parents cried and said their thanks, the mage vanished into thin air. The next day they took what they needed and some valuables to sell, and headed home. However, they faintly notice that Ravanna's hair had changed and became blue...

As she grew older, Ravanna's parents struggled with their money, despite selling the mage's valuables at a rich price (this was used to pay their debts at the time). Because of this and despite Ravanna's parents teaching of how to be a good person, she did what she needed to do to keep her family from starving in Kinaldi. She sold strange things she found on city's boarders and in the city, and she learned to steal food and rummage trash for goods. When she was 10, she gathered enough money to buy a bow and arrow, great hunting tools that she used to hunt along Erth'netora. She hunted for the rest of her life afterwards, and at sixteen years old was given the job of huntress for a mage who lived in town. She now works for him, occasionally "borrowing" books and bringing them home to read and secretly practice magic. She is able to speak Morrimian and read and write Morrimian, thanks to the mage she works for who taught her, though she still struggles with Common. Many of the mages books are written in Morrimian, while more advanced spells are in Common. Because of this, she knows more simple spells, but wishes to learn more.

    First Five Abilities:
Archery- This skill allows Ravanna to use and maneuver a bow and arrow. Because she has used it since she was ten, she can use any sort of bow and arrow with precision, but has to take time to learn how to use a new bow properly first.

Stealth- Because of her need to steal at times, Ravanna uses Stealth to quickly and quietly wave through crowds and alley ways, avoiding being caught by anyone nearby. Most people do not notice her; however, Chaotic and Lawful PCs, and the are military more likely to see her, or at least become more skeptical of Ravanna's actions when she is trying to use Stealth. These characters can try and intervene and stop her.

Steal- Ravanna uses steal when she feels she can take items without being scene. This can include pick pocketing at times, though she rarely resorts to that kind of stealing. She mostly steals food, with the purpose being to feed her family. Ravanna does not steal from the poor, as she understands their stuggles for food and money. Instead, she tries to steal from various farmers' food stands when its owners and customers are not noticing, and tries to pickpocket from mages, wizards, noblemen and women, and farmers. She tries to make sure that those around her are paying her much atttention, or at least are not interested in what she is doing before she uses Stealth. Members of the military, Chaotic characters, pirates, and some mages are more likely to notice Ravanna stealing and pickpocketing. Ravanna won't always see these characters right away either, as she may not recognize them before using Stealth. Characters who are paying attention to their surroundings, however, can see her using Stealth, and can choose whether to call her out or not while she is performing this ability. Those mentioned before can again try and intervene and stop her.

Torch- During her hunting sessions, Ravanna sometimes finishes her hunting at night time, when one can barely see in front of their hands. Torch is a spell she learned in her mage's books. She uses this mostly to light her way home, the fire itself coming from one of her hands, acting like a torch. Ravanna casts this by focusing the air around her hand, and snapping her fingers. The particles around her hand then catches on fire, several inches above her hand, and acts like a torch. She can disperse this by waving her hand, blowing the fire away.

Teleportation- Another spell she learned from the mage's books, teleportation works by having Ravanna concentrate on a place she wants to go to, and focusing her energy on that one place, thus taking her there and "teleporting" her to another place. This is a good plan B for her, as if her stealth fails her, she uses teleportation as a back up plan. In order for this ability to work properly, she has to have either been to her desired location beforehand or have seen it. An example of this would be if she looking at a rooftop, she could teleport herself there. However, this location must be within a one mile distance from where she currently stands. This does take a quite a bit of energy, leaving her body to feel slightly tired afterwards. Ravanna can use Teleportation five times in succession before needing to rest for a long time. Any more and she could faint. Other forms of magic can intercept her Teleportation and cause this to fail, still making her feel weak. She also need a good amount of concentration before Teleporting, although she can still do minor action like running or using her bow while concentrating.

    • Healing – this healing works more as a way to speed up the process of healing, rather than an actual healing spell. For example, let's say that someone where to inflict a stab wound. Rather than using her power to heal the wound completely, she can use her magic to heal a good portion of it. This healing power comes from a ring that she wears around her neck like a necklace, which only those who posses the ability to use magic can wield. Without is, she can not use her healing power. How much she can heal a wound depends on what kind of wound it is. Deeper wounds require more time to heal than small cuts or scraps. Deep wounds would also need to be healed in separate sessions. Of course, her powers are limited, and the rings can only be used for so long before needed to recharge.
