Hello everyone!
It's that time of year again. As part of a little spring cleanup (both on the forum and off the forum, I suppose), we're launching an Activity Check, as part of our efforts to assess the activity status of players' accounts 3-4 times a year.
Activity Check
We will not require you to make xx number of IC posts—the exception to this being the players who have a Sovereign character; information can be found below for Sovereign characters. Simply fill out the following form with your information, post here, and the staff will update the lists every few days, depending on how many responses we receive at a time.
This form should be filled out and posted in this topic. So, if I were to fill this out, it would look something like this:
If the character name does not match the username, please give us the username.
If you are planning to keep characters that aren't active or haven't been active for several weeks prior to the activity check, the staff and I will take a look at them once the AC is over to see if that activity has changed or will be changing. If it has not, we will be asking players to reassess whether or not they want to keep those characters. Although NPCs are unaffected by the lack of posts/activity, please declare them as part of your characters to keep/archive/delete so that we know what to do with them. If you are not using your NPC accounts, you may wish to have them deleted.
Since Sovereign characters are an integral part of the world in that they afford players a great deal of plotting opportunities, the activity check for them is slightly different. If a Sovereign character has not made at least 1 IC post in the past 3 weeks, we require that their player makes at least 2 IC posts by the final day of the AC (see below); those posts will need to be linked in this topic or they will not count. If the player does not make these two posts, the Sovereign character will either be demoted (as would be the case with Soto), or put up for adoption (as would be the case for Morrim, for Isra [Nero has been removed as a Sovereign]). Original characters will not be reinstated, and adoptable characters will not be returned to the player who was previously writing for them. If activity drops immediately after the AC, staff will contact the individual players. To recap:
Absences will, as always, be considered. However, please note that lack of muse is not a valid absence, unless that lack of muse stems from sources such as work/family stress, illness, etc. If you have posted an absence and are posting with other characters, however, we will assume that you are well enough to post with your Sovereign, meaning that you are still responsible for fulfilling that part of the AC.
If you have a posted absence, please link it here.
Please remember that you should only take on as many characters as you feel you can keep active. Players who have characters whose activity has been null or almost null within the last month or so will receive PMs if activity does not pick up with them.
The activity check will run from today, April 21, 2013 until May 12, 2013. Players that do not post here by the end date will have their accounts deleted if an account has less than 10 posts or archived if it has more than 10 posts.

We realize that the DM posts for this plot have been slow coming as of late, and we apologize for that. That being said, this plot is still happening, and the current thread will be finishing up soon, opening the way for further threads, especially those which directly involve the Dulassiin cult. If you're new to the forum and would like to join the plot, we recommend you take a look at OOC plot thread, and if you're intent on joining, PM me or another staffer so we can tell you how to do so!

Hello folks!
This is just a small announcement to let you all know that it is officially Spring 7 AR on Elenlond! If you are planning on making threads that take place prior to the current season, we continue to recommend that you time stamp your threads for clarity. If you're not sure what time stamping looks like, check out the FAQ for more details.
We also encourage members to let us know if there are any major events they would like added to the timeline (which will be updated with 6 AR major events soon).
I have also updated the quotation generator at the top of the forum, and the Achievements. If you haven't claimed yours yet, you should do so! They will be done again when we either have a lot of them, or during the next update.
Finally, a head's up to all members: There will be an activity check beginning within the next week or two. so stay tuned!

Winter is drawing to a close in Elenlond, so please go ahead and vote for the date on which you would like spring to begin!
In advance of that, there have been some updates to the site. First of all, there are new OTMs, so congratulations to Neriasis for her character Vitamy and be sure to look at the featured thread, The Price You Pay.
As the the quest for the Telhamite Stone in Morrim advances, a new article about the Dulassiin has been put up for your education and enjoyment. After our adventurers have defeated the monsters sent in advance by the Dulassiin, they will enter into the caves of the cult in the hopes of retrieving the Stone. If anyone wants to still join, they are welcome to do so here. This is, of course, not the only plot going on that people can jump in on, so those questing for things to do with their characters should just look at the Plots board!
