The city's guardsmen have instead chosen to act, And now, both on the ground and in the towers around the streets, have their sights trained on the beast. The men in the towers are all equipped with composite bows, each with with arrow pointed straight at this strange creature in the city streets. And then their surprise attack begins: Some of them have drawn out nets, with lead weights arranged around in many places around the edges, the nets consisting of steel wire to cut into the flesh and subdue with pain any who would try to struggle against them. The men toss the nets over the beast who is busy feasting on the chicken in turn, hoping that one or more of the nets will land on her and trap her. And they get lucky, several land upon the creature as she sits in her own little world, eating that unfortunate hen. The weights push the nets heavily to the ground, trapping her easily under their criss-crossed steel cables. Several of the men climb down from the watch towers and slowly advance on the beast. Upon getting closer, they see that her form resembles that of a human female very closely, except several features, such as fur, horns, and wings are more animal-like. A curious creature indeed, one these men have never seen the likes of! She is also wearing an eye patch... Strange. The king needs to see this beast as soon as possible. The guards slowly draw nearer, prepared to take her into the castle.
