Abilities are the spells, skills, and enchantments your character may possess. Rather than have a shop system, we have decided to allow members to create these for themselves, to make their experience here as unique as possible. The best way to understand the Abilities System is to read the following topics: Ability Tutorial: Spells, Skills, and Enchantments What Constitutes an Ability? We also strongly encourage you to take a quick peek at other members' character profiles, to see what sorts of abilities they have come up with. 2. What is an 'ability slot'? An ability slot is simply an ability. For example, when you start on the forum, with 0 IC posts, you may have 5 abilities, which would equal 5 ability slots. The term ability and ability slot are interchangeable. 3. What sorts of things need to be made into abilities? The best place to look is in the What Constitutes an Ability? thread. If your idea is not on that list in some way, shape, or form, we advise that you ask a staff member.
