Her Imperial Majesty, the Grand Empress of Morrim

Name – Empress Isra Amiel Age – 28 Gender – Female Alignment – Lawful Good Social Class – Sovereign Occupation – Empress of Morrim Race – Human Physical Appearance – Her Highness is a vision of all that is regal. Her posture is perfect, a healthy, yet somewhat thin body with the height of 5'5" and a weight of 115 lbs. Her skin has a warm glow, the color of peaches with a subtle rose blush, nary a visible flaw, yet her clothes are often concealing with long sleeves, long skirts, and many layers. Her hair is rich black, fair and thin, with subtle waves and a healthy shine, often worn up and winding in fanciful designs, worn with headdresses and her crown, which is a simple circlet made of swirling gold. Down, it may reach past her waist to mid-thigh. Her eyes are noticeably wise and aged beyond her years, slender and up-turned according to her mother's genetics, strikingly deep indigo in color. Her nose is small and up-turned with a graceful slope, and her pink lips are full, usually found faintly smiling. Her best features are her neck and shoulders, which seem to be perfectly designed and silky smooth to the touch. She does tend to show these features off, but for little more reason than her posture forces her, as her head is held high, never sinking. Her movements are graceful, her hands small and feminine with their nails painted, extending just beyond the fingertips. Personality – The Empress always brings with her an air of magnificence. Much more than just a person, but an icon to her people, she carries this burden with pride and humility. In public, she must be a flawless ruler, her fear being her people rejecting her either for being a woman or too young, though both are widely known. Where she presents herself, good fortune usually follows, as she is generous and compassionate. However, she is also the protector of her people, and as so, she may show an entirely different side of herself that is commanding and decisive, even intimidating to hold a conversation with. The arts are her favorite hobby, as well as riding and visiting small communities. Unfortunately, with the pressure of being a near perfect leader, in private she is much different. Feeling as if she has been a caged animal all of her life - though she has grown to accept it and live with it - in her seclusion, she is a dreamer and fully flawed, victim to periods of tears and depression, particularly with the additional pressure of keeping Orl'Kabbar in check. She possesses a realistic view of the world, unobscured by the lavish lifestyle she lives, and never gives to naivety or ignorance. She makes it a point of knowing everything of her lands, stories given to her by her many scouts she sends into taverns and markets, partially to have a firm hold on her empire, and partially for her own amusement. The Empress also leads a life of chastity and loneliness until she chooses a man to create an heir, her best company being the bards who pass through and her servants, who do not know her private side, and love her for the very same reasons she is loved throughout. History – It began when the reigning queen of Kinaldi was bewitched by the dashing charm of the reigning, self-proclaimed King of Orl'Kabbar. They wed, and began their difficult goals to unite their kingdoms, and all which fell in between. Their combined efforts - her virtue and his ...different ways - managed to tie Morrim together with loose bonds. It became much easier afterwards, and gave the two time to settle and begin a family. Isra was born, given a golden rattle, and began her grooming for the throne when the time came. Unfortunately, the time came such sooner than anyone had anticipated, as the Queen became ill, giving no time for a male heir or to suitably groom Isra. Her father took another wife for his daughter, but was left a hollow shell of a man, lacking passion, obsessed with his duty, as now he had become the throne's guardian until his child could effectively make the decisions for the country. Her step-mother was still a kind woman who did resemble her mother, and as Isra grew, this woman taught her how to be a lady, as her father taught her how to rule. She was schooled by the best scholars Kinaldi had to offer, but even as a child, she was forbidden to play and be as such in public, only with her father and step-mother behind securely closed doors. It was set into her how important she was to become, and why her life and personal desires had to be put aside for the countless people who would look upon her for hope and wisdom. Soon, all fun and games ended. She took the throne at fifteen, and her reign began. The quickly won the hearts of most, but at the age of sixteen, someone had finally obtained her's. He was a poet and student at the Academy, regaling her privately with stories of far-off lands and people she would never meet, singing songs of old heroes and epic battles. Isra's heart withered when people began to talk. When the boy refused to never see her again, she had him banished, never to return under penalty of death. The rumors stopped, she was commended for her decision, and since then she has forgotten herself, discarding individuality to become the Empress Morrim sought.
