Kit's own ears perked, her vocals emitting a light laugh at his choice of meats. "Excellent! I can call a craving for chicken. But so much to do... mm. Shall require some seasoning, for certain. Peppers, yes. Just a bit, not too much. And onions perhaps... hmm... maybe. Oh, and mushrooms." Set off into an excited ramble, Kit spoke more to herself than she did Tzel. She was already planning out the recipe in her mind; she had been trained to know her flavors well, so no dish was a mere experimentation. The years she'd spent as a chef's apprentice had given her a good bit of knowledge when it came to food. Noodles, however, were her specialty. "Hrm?" Her head tilted as an item was offered from her newfound companion. Upon examination, it appeared to be a flower, and a quite lovely one. Had it not a paper quality to it- namely so, a papery scent- she'd have questioned its appearance more. Her hand, still the free one since he had not been inclined to releasing hers, nor was she of his, reached to accept the gift, which brought a greater smile to her face. "It's so lovely..." Pausing just a moment, Kit flashed him a smile, following by a brief and cunning smirk, before leaning in to place a quick kiss on his cheek. Tail swishing, she pulled back away, her face set in a broad grin. "Thank you, and you're welcome. I'm much obliged to be lending you a hand, dear Tzel. What sort of fox would I be to shun my kin?" Humming, Kit led Tzel off again, following her nose to the display of baked sweets she'd come upon earlier. Finding the stand once more, her tail wagged more energetically before being forced back out of view as they neared it. Her ears, too, shrunk back into human ears. Thus a human made her return, her new friend in tow. "Pick anythin' you want here, Tzel. But jus' a lil' bit, we'll be havin' supper soon after all and you dun' wanna spoil your appetite before you get a bite of my cooking, do ya? Noodles, right? Chicken and noodles." |
