He sits through her tirade about being too good to follow his rules as well, taking in every word. Finally, as her tirade comes to a close, the king gives his answers to her argument. "My rules apply to you because you're in my country, and you're smart enough to be able to follow them. It is my first and foremost duty to protect my people. So anyone who is perceived as a threat, I have to deal with in accordance with the laws I've made to protect them. And out there... they perceived you as a threat. For a good reason, from the sounds of your words." The king takes a few paces back and forth before continuing. "And had it been a demon... their actions would have been far more malicious. And I wouldn't even be giving them the chance to have this conversation. My orders would have been to destroy it immediately. And considering the military I've got.... I could make it happen." Razarod leans against the wall once again and watches as the creature's demeanor changes, becomes a bit more mellowed out. It seems she's finally decided to behave in a civilized manner. "Now, if I release you, I'll need your assurance that you won't cause any more trouble in my lands. There's plenty of wilderness and plenty of wild animals that you appear to be more than capable of taking down. So, I let you go, and you behave for me. Do we have a deal?"
