The king was, in a way, wrong. At his words, the shapeshifter narrowed her eyes at him, her rage reduced to a deep, throaty growl. She stood at the bars, her forepaws pressed against them. They were spread far enough apart for her head to bend between them; her hackles raised and her ears pinned back. She continued to growl deeply, not saying anything more. He was most certainly right: her threats were meaningless if she needed him to let her out.

With as vicious a bark as she could manage, she turned away from the bars of her prison, pacing along the walls once more. Her movement was kept primarily to the back walls, the furthest from the king, but several times she passed by the front again. And each time she gave a deeper, angrier growl.

When Minno spoke again, she hadn't stopped pacing. Not in the least. "You keep your smart words to yourself, swine. I want out of here and I'm getting out. One way or another..."

She snarled again, and with a wicked fury, started to lunge from wall to wall. The angry rumbles from her throat took a higher pitch as she took advantage of the space provided, and shifted into a larger form. Now no wolf paced the cell but an angry horse, whom throttled and bashed against the bars with the force of her entire body. When throwing her own weight around failed to work, she started to slam and kick against them with her hooves, desperate for escape. Nothing more crossed her mind than the need to get out of the cage she was put into.

"Let me out!" She followed the demand with a whinnied shriek, before charging at the bars again. Still the bars would not break, and held true despite the abuse they received.

"You have no reason to keep me here! You had no reason to catch me! I demand that you release me!" Now no horse, but a tiger, whom jumped at the bars and grasped, by her claws, onto the sides. She could hold on to the bars like that for a few seconds before having to drop back down again. Tiger form did nothing to further her escape.

But she did not change again just yet, for the tiger had one great weapon she could put to use. With the jungle king's natural voice, she yelled at the man that dared hold her prisoner- and taunt her for it! A savage, unrestrained roar bellowed through the dungeon; sharp fangs set in plain view of the island's king. The meaning behind the yell need be no clearer: Comply.

Even when the roar ended, the trapped creature continued to rage. Bashing from wall to wall, throwing about her weight- she even tried to gnaw onto the bars. Minno was desperate; she wanted her freedom.

"The damned... of all the damned! Give me back my freedom! Let me out of here, you blasted.... human! Of all the damned races! Human! None other rings more foul a name! I should have killed those men before they set their filth upon me!"
