The year is:
Empress Isra Amiel has been re-instated as Empress after disappearing for over six months following Andromalius' conquest! Those not part of the revolution who supported the empire are rejoicing ecstatically. She is being attended to by her Advisers and her newest additions to her retinue, Sphynx and Tsuki The natural disasters in Soto are only worsening. The Erth'netora Forest has experienced an accelerated rate of decay and it is now fringing on areas outside of the forest. |
| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Soare - The Twilight Lands |

The Kingdom of Ashoka
Spanning the entire north of the Soaren continent, Ashoka is a dry nation, composed mainly of rolling dunes and rich oases. Towards the southern outskirts this vast desert fades into jungle, while near the centre lies the capital city, Eldahar. There are many smaller villages surrounding Eldahar, while, towards the outskirts of these, the desert tribes roam. The people here are quite used to the hot sun and the lack of available water, having learned to adapt quickly. Following the abdication of Andromalius, former Emperor of Morrim and Ashoka, Orion de Lacey has assumed the position of Moghul, King of Ashoka.

Soto
To the south of Ashoka and sharing much of its border with the desert Kingdom is Soto, a neutral nation composing the entire western and much of the southern continent. Most of the nation is composed of large, sprawling forests that consume much of the available land. These forests are lush, home to innumerable creatures, and at times can be very dark. Rain frequents Soto, although there are enough sunny days to balance it out. Thick forests, beautiful waterfalls, and wide rivers are commonplace in the nation. Madrid is its most prominent city, housing the Council of Twelve.

Morrim
Morrim is Soare's eastern-most nation, situated south of Ashoka, east of Soto. Its eastern coast is backed by the Do'suul Mountains, a chain of ranges that makes it nearly impossible for ships to dock. The land is mostly composed of plains and valleys, the odd forest, swamps, and temples and other buildings dedicated to the beauty of Life and the law of Order. The two prominent cities, Kinaldi and Orl'Kabbar, differ greatly, the former being more upperclass. With the abdication of Andromalius, Morrim is without a monarch.

The Kaadian Way
The Kaadian Way, a long road winding throughout Soare's entirety, linking Ashoka, Morrim, and Soto together. It is neutral territory, somehow left unclaimed by the nations. All buildings found on its route are also considered neutral.

The Island of Angkar
Lying directly between Soare and Esiria in the Ocean of Diverging Waters, this continent is fertile, tropical in nature, and one of the most powerful islands in Elenlond. Lavish forests intermixed with fruit-bearing trees run rampant here. Interspersed within are various towns and cities, each florishing under the rule of a central monarchy. They are often difficult to find due to their placement deep within the forests. The people of Angkar follow a religion that only they understand.

Elenlond's Oceans
All of the ocean and sea forums are contained here. From west of Soare to east of Esiria are the oceans, respectively: the Sedokai Ocean, the Sea of Diverging Waters, and the Ocean of Ancients. Many interesting and diverse islands can be found across the various seas, all there waiting to be explored.
