All members should review these articles and note the changes, so that, if they need to, they can make appropriate changes to their profiles. These changes have also enabled Elenlond to have a defined year, which you will find to the right. Any plot-related information will also be stored there, for easy access.

Soto is currently experiencing extreme natural disasters, including floods, forest fires, and hurricanes. There is no known cause for this. It is causing unrest within Soto.

Shadow and Razarod are currently seeking recruits for the opposition against Andromalius.

A tournament has begun to accept signups on Firestorm Island. (OOC/IC)

Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Soare - The Twilight Lands

The Kingdom of Ashoka Spanning the entire north of the Soaren continent, Ashoka is a dry nation, composed mainly of rolling dunes and rich oases. Towards the southern outskirts this vast desert fades into jungle, while near the centre lies the capital city, Eldahar. There are many smaller villages surrounding Eldahar, while, towards the outskirts of these, the desert tribes roam. The people here are quite used to the hot sun and the lack of available water, having learned to adapt quickly. Following the appearance of Andromalius, current Emperor of Morrim, and his army, Orion de Lacey has been appointed Governor of Ashoka. Soto To the south of Ashoka and sharing much of its border with the desert Kingdom is Soto, a neutral nation composing the entire western and much of the southern continent. Most of the nation is composed of large, sprawling forests that consume much of the available land. These forests are lush, home to innumerable creatures, and at times can be very dark. Rain frequents Soto, although there are enough sunny days to balance it out. Thick forests, beautiful waterfalls, and wide rivers are commonplace in the nation. Morrim Morrim is Soare's eastern-most nation, situated south of Ashoka, east of Soto. Its eastern coast is backed by the Do'suul Mountains, a chain of ranges that makes it nearly impossible for ships to dock. The land is mostly composed of plains and valleys, the odd forest, swamps, and temples and other buildings dedicated to the beauty of Life and the law of Order. The two prominent cities, Kinaldi and Orl'Kabbar, differ greatly, the former being more upperclass. Since the disappearance of the Empress, the nation has been presided over by Emperor Andromalius. The Scattered Isles

Firestorm Island Firestorm Island is unmarked on any kind of map. Its location is passed down through the underground to worthy souls. It is a very spiritual place, so not everyone may enter. There is a pier in Reine which is always vacant during the day, but by night an ancient boat docks and waits, its details aboriginal and savage, its wooden planks cracked and forbidding. It creaks with every wave, as if the thing were going to collapse on its next voyage, certainly. A man stands outside this boat, a mask upon his face, and waits. Those granted passage will be led to the mystic island and see its banks at the light of dawn, the sun's golden glow lighting the sea aflame. An active volcano stands tall on its northern coast. The Island of Angkar Lying directly between Soare and Esiria in the Ocean of Diverging Waters, this continent is fertile, tropical in nature, and one of the most powerful islands in Elenlond. Lavish forests intermixed with fruit-bearing trees run rampant here. Interspersed within are various towns and cities, each florishing under the rule of a central monarchy. They are often difficult to find due to their placement deep within the forests. The people of Angkar follow a religion that only they understand. The monarch of Angkar is Razarod Evermore. Elenlond's Oceans All of the ocean and sea forums are contained here.
