A cathedral, tall and majestic and strangely blackened over the ages, having withstood the test of time is situated in the middle of no man's land on a shelf thrust out from the side of a mountain face, looming above the barren wasteland below. Inside the cathedral are old benches; falling apart and rotting, they are hardly worthy of anyone's interest or praise. The windows are blackened and stained. Few would come here of their own free will.

There are many roads that lead between the various temple kingdoms of Elenlond, yet perhaps the most popular route is the Kaadian Way. This road is the only road in all of Elenlond that goes to each of the temples and is entirely paved the whole way. The red brick cobblestones that cover this street are so well worn that traveling over them was usually a smoother ride than walking was, even on horseback. By the side of this way, near the very center of the realm, sits a tavern that welcomes all kinds; Seldona. The building is quite large, having three floors of rooms above the bar and a small stage in the basement. Within the main room, the bar is in the shape of an ‘L’ in one corner, next to the entrance. Opposite the bar, is a large, cozy fireplace that is always filled with flame. On either side of the fireplace is a set of stairs, one leading up and one leading down. The center of the room is filled with tables, booths sitting along the remaining two walls. Cyane, the owner and hostess of the bar, is a tall, thin woman with bright eyes and a constant smile. She often travels from table to table, checking up on customers while she directs the various barmaids in several tasks. Cyane is the woman to talk to if one should like to rent a room or perhaps perform on the stage.
