| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? The Hidden City of Ildri
Located far from the coast and deep within the massive forest known as Borodora lies the city of Ildri. Meaning 'Little Fire', it is a place of great beauty and tranquility. The city is composed of a stone the colour of red ochre; when dusking or dawning sunlight falls upon its surface it appears as if the city is burning. Despite its secluded location it is a large, boisterous place, housing many weary travellers while providing a temporary home for wandering tribes. There are very few temples and shrines, and of those that do exist, most are dedicated to an unknown deity that only the indigenous inhabitants of Angkar know of. Ildri is the capital of Angkar.

Port City Zedrin
Lying on the northern coast of Angkar is Port Zedrin. It is one of the most famous free ports in Elenlond, perhaps the only one, and the city itself is incredibly wealthy. This wealth, however, is concentrated to only the elite few, leaving the city divided. In the west there are the slums where the poverty is so high there isn't enough food to feed even a family of three. In the east the wealthy reside with their immense mansions, eating most of the food that is imported and grown. Slavery runs rampant in Zedrin and as one walks down the street, they can see the rows of bound and gagged men and women waiting to be sold to one of the wealthy families.

Suicide Cliffs
Named by the natives, these cliffs overlook the eastern portion of the island. A sheer drop from their edge leads to the ocean below and, coincidentally, death. The waters smash against the rocky front, killing any and all who fall from their terrifying heights. It is said that a woman committed suicide here after her husband fell from the edge while observing the ocean. It was after this incident that the cliffs were named.
