Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Soare - The Twilight Lands

The Kingdom of Ashoka Spanning the entire north of the Soaren continent, Ashoka is a dry nation, composed mainly of rolling dunes and rich oases. Towards the southern outskirts this vast desert fades into jungle, while near the centre lies the capital city, Eldahar. There are many smaller villages surrounding Eldahar, while, towards the outskirts of these, the desert tribes roam. The people here are quite used to the hot sun and the lack of available water, having learned to adapt quickly. Following the appearance of Andromalius, current Emperor of Morrim, and his army, Orion de Lacey has been appointed Governor of Ashoka. Soto To the south of Ashoka and sharing much of its border with the desert Kingdom is Soto, a neutral nation composing the entire western and much of the southern continent. Most of the nation is composed of large, sprawling forests that consume much of the available land. These forests are lush, home to innumerable creatures, and at times can be very dark. Rain frequents Soto, although there are enough sunny days to balance it out. Thick forests, beautiful waterfalls, and wide rivers are commonplace in the nation. Morrim Morrim is Soare's eastern-most nation, situated south of Ashoka, east of Soto. Its eastern coast is backed by the Do'suul Mountains, a chain of ranges that makes it nearly impossible for ships to dock. The land is mostly composed of plains and valleys, the odd forest, swamps, and temples and other buildings dedicated to the beauty of Life and the law of Order. The two prominent cities, Kinaldi and Orl'Kabbar, differ greatly, the former being more upperclass. Since the disappearance of the Empress, the nation has been presided over by Emperor Andromalius. The Kaadian Way The Kaadian Way, a long road winding throughout Soare's entirety, linking Ashoka, Morrim, and Soto together. It is neutral territory, somehow left unclaimed by the nations.
