[size=14]F a d i n g . M e m o r i e s[/size] Dear Sir or Madam, I am pleased to welcome you to attend The Academy, school of Wizardry & Witchcraft. Climb aboard the train on platform 3 1/3. Make sure you have your case safely in your hand. Find a seat amongst your classmates. And get ready for a year of Magic...  The Academy is one of the few magical schools of the world. It is situated in a parallel universe to England and therefore takes on the customs of that country. However, there are difference in this universe, namly the extreme seasons which include heatwaves and snowstorms, currency which is still coinage and not electronic and ability to use magic! Once you've arrived, you are part of one of The Academy's four houses. These people will be your friends and roomates for seven years.  Valorosa is the house of the brave, strong and true. They reside in Septentrio (The North Tower) and are known for their skills in Defense Against the Dark Arts & Potions.  Callida is the house of the cunning, sly and mischievous. They reside in Auster (The South Tower) and are known for their skills in Potions & Charms.  Amicior is the house of the loyal, hardworking and honest. They reside in Oriens (The East Tower) and are known for their skills in Herbology & Care of Magical Creatures.  Sensatus is the house of the intellect, smart and witty. They reside in Occidentis (The West Tower) and are known for their skills in Transfiguration & Charms. We hope to see you soon, and recognise your magical abilites.
