Apprentice Posts: 7 Group: Members Member #14 Joined: October 28, 2008	Character Name: Joseph LaTerry Age: 18 Race: Mutant Job: Doesn't really have one... (the lazy bum) Gender: Male Family: Mom, Dad, and brother (Seth), all alive. Physical: LaTerry (as he likes to be called) is a very skinny guy. If you were to see him without a shirt, you could count his ribs with ease. He has dark brown hair that has two cowlicks that make the shape of a very disfigured M on his forhead. He is average height, which is good, because if he was any taller he would be someone who could be called very lanky. He has a goatee and sideburns and he wears glasses. Tempermant: LaTerry is a very mellow person and likes to takes things sloooooooow. He doesn't like fighting but will if he feels it nessesary. He is a hard person to get close to because he won't even try. If one would want to befriend him, one would have to do all the work. He is very quiet and good at keeping secrets. So good that his family doesn't realize that he was a mutant for a long time. When he gets around his few friends he becomes a much different person. He gets talkative and friendly and starts joking around, but most people don't ever see him like this. History: LaTerry grew up a normal child. He was the second son of two normal people. He looked up to his older brother Seth very much and Seth loved his little brother. The only thing that one could say stood out about LaTerry was that he got good grades in school. When he was eight years old, one of his best friend died. Soon after that, his older brother Seth was discovered to be a mutant and was sent to Xaviers school for Gifted Youngsters. LaTerry changed very much after that. He became quiet and shy. It wasn't long before LaTerry discovered that he was also a mutant like his brother. He kept this a secret from his parents, not wanting to leave his family like his brother had. He kept his power a secret for a long time until one day he had to save his father from a bank robbery. His father had gone to a bank to make a transaction and had brought LaTerry with him. After they had finished, a man held up the people in the building at gun point. He said that he would kill someon every hour until the police gave into his demands. LaTerry's father stood up to him, so he was chosen as the first victim. The man fired, but was suprised when LaTerry's father pushed out of the way very fast. The next thing he knew, the gun was out of his hands. LaTerry didn't want to go to Xavier's school, but his parents insisted. When he got there, he told people to address him as LaTerry instead of his real name for the first time.
