![]() I just wanted to wish everyone a peaceful and happy Easter. I'm not sure if there's many Christians/Catholics on here, but yeah... Anyway, God bless! ♥ |

*raises hand* Right here! I'm more of an open-minded/liberal/etc. Christian by US standards, but yeah, Happy Easter to you too! |

Whoa, awesome! You have anything planned for Easter? I'm just going to relax and focus on my faith at home (no nearby churches that I like). |

I was raised Catholic, though I'm an Empirical Agnostic by principle, but still a nice spirited holiday. Happy Easter everyone!

I'm probably going to be too tired to give it much thought honestly. I had a job interview today AND the air in our house temporarily stopped working right, and ugh. I just wanna relax. Besides, didn't someone say to rest on the 7th day? ![]() We do have some friends coming over though, and I might attempt to eat lunch/dinner with them if I can muster the energy. And Happy Easter Staraong! If I may ask, is there a difference between Emperical and "normal" agnosticism? |

Thank you! and rest up! you deserve it! I personally decided to go work because holiday pay is 2x and we don't live near relatives, so we're not doing anything big. Empirical Agnosticism is also called "weak" agnosticism, meaning I'm pretty much open to the belief that proof can be obtained as to the existence of a greater being as well as proof of the non-existence of said being, we just don't have the means -yet- of obtaining said proof. Where as strong or "regular" Agnosticism is set on the belief that no proof can be obtained one way or another, so while there may or may not be a greater being we just can't tell. So it's a small difference, but I'm like that, I like to stay open to possibilities.

Wow. Even as a Christian, that actually seems like one of the most reasonable belief systems I've ever heard, and I can definitely respect it. I'm weird though. I definitely believe in God, but I don't think it's right for me or anyone else to push, let alone outright force beliefs on anyone else. Which is probably why I like the sound of Emperical Agnosticism as you put it, even if its not for me personally. And thanks. I'm gonna try to get some rest later. I feel ao sleep deprived, like I need about five days off just to sleep or something @_@ And happy Easter Kuraudo! |
