I remember reading in one early magazine article about how in the Hercules Colosseum you could eventually fight all the Final Fantasy cast members. I was kinda disappointed that Aerith never stepped up to the plate (also, no moogles, but that's a different topic.) Yeah, I can understand why they did it and it makes sense, and, as my brother (who favors Cloud/Tifa over Cloud/Aeris) said "Nobody wants to fight Aeris. It would just feel mean beating on her." Still, I was somewhat disapointed. You ever get to see her in battle, even in the big battle scene in KH2, all she does is heal. Still, it would have been nice to see Aerith pull out her battle staff and toss some magic spells around. So, if Aerith did get some action scenes in the game, how do you picture her fighting? |

Well Aerith sorta fights in Dissidia too, right? in the KH series I could have seen her on Sora's team actually as a mage of sorts, or if she had fought Sora as a black mage of sorts would have worked, perhaps with holy magic that damages Sora. |

In all fairness, I am partly glad that you can't fight Aeris in the arena like you can almost every other FF character. Like you said, the poor girl has been through enough already without Sora whacking her repeatedly with the keyblade @_@ If she DID fight though, methinks she'd use her staff the way Donatello from the Ninja Turtles does if cornered into close combat. Beyond that, she'd wield spells like a master wizard or sorceress, blasting the crap out of everything, and it'd likely hurt far worse than most other characters' physical attacks considering her incredible innate magic powers. |

I think Aerith would fight similar to Terra in Dissidia - she would attack with magic spells like Thunder, Blizzard, Fire, etc. Mostly white magic. Well... Terra fights with her rapier sometimes, too, so I think Aerith would just hit the opponent with her staff and then quickly go into distance. Some kind of long-distance fighter. And, because she is quite slow when it comes to running, I bet she would be able to levitate :3 But it´s still Kingdom Hearts and the Olympus Colliseum, so maybe she wouldn´t be able to levitate... but if she were in Dissidia as a playable character, I bet she was able to fly :3 ...Well, this is off-topic, but would Rinoa be able to fly with her Angel Wings - maybe as an EX-Modus?^^ |

Hahaha. As much as I would hate to see Aerith get whacked repeatedly by a keyblade. I think SE doesn't give Aerith enough credit here. We all know she's capable of doing so much more but I guess SE doesn't believe so. If she was fighting in the Colosseum I see Aerith using alot of magic. Black magic, Healing her partner, whacking Sora with her staff. Seriously Aerith is an ancient the last of her race. Clearly Aerith can do so much more, she didn't get that name for nothing. @Lady Lifestream I guess Rinoa would use her wings, haven't played ff8 but does she actually use those while fighting or are the fans just exaggerating her wings? |

Aeris is useful in KH though, she gives you Curaga in the first game. So her character even though she doesn't fight DOES serve a purpose. Much like Kairi who doesn't fight but serves a purpose, or Cid for that matter. So not every character needs to fight to be useful. |

I was actually disappointed to not fight Aerith because she would probably be very challenging. She would be the character you would need to take out first because of her healing spells and dangerous liability as a long range fighter. Since each character could some viration of their limit breaks Healing Wind would no doubt be one of her skils and probably Planet Protector but instead of invincibility Aerith would provide her team mates with enhanced boosts. She would use her staff when Sora would close in on her but would most likely try to push him off when doing so. |

That could have been a nice fight. I didn't think about it like that. Her being the healer for another character or group. I could see her working as backup for Cloud although I suppose it's make more sense to have her be backup for Leon and Yuffie. |

That would be awesome, a winged HD Rinoa in Battle...
Yes, she uses those wings in battle, but only after she became a witch. When she uses her limit break "Angel Wings", she gets those wings and flies up. In this mode, she fights as a berserk and randomly uses mighty spells like Meteor, Blizzaga, etc. I think in Dead Fantasy, Mounty Oum made clear how strong Rinoa really is with those wings, even if Square has never shown her to be that acrobatic. But I think in Dead Fantasy one was able to get a good idea of her limit break. So, yes, she is able to fly with those wings.
|

Well, if you consider Planet Protector would make her and her allies glow gold, like Hercules when he's invincible... Aerith could be a HUGE pain in the butt to fight. |
