This question occurred to me the other day.

What would happen if Aerith had Jenova cells combined with her Cetra/Ancient abilities? Could Sephiroth control the lifestream then?

Never thought of that. But I doubt that he could have been able to control it even if she had Jenova cells, I do believe that the Cetra genes she had would prevent it... dunno why I think so, but the Cetra DID defeat Jenova.

That's what I was thinking too, but I wasn't sure. >.<

No, Aerith's will is far too strong to be defeated by Sephiroth. She might be physically weaker, but there's no way she would let that happen. :aeris:

Good point. Plus, I believe the Cetra helped Aerith control the Lifestream.

Well yeah, I mean... Sephiroth can only control those who are mentally weak... and mentally weak Aerith is not.

Yep in the beginning of FFVII he sure was because he was so messed up. But the final battle in FFVII was showing him finally overcoming Sephiroth's hold on him.

BTW when I say mentally weak I really mean "mentally weaker than he is."

I think if she had Jenova cells in her, she'd actually be in a lot worse health. For some reason I just see the Jenova part of her tring to eat her up from inside like a nasty disease or cancer.

Yea, I think that too, Alan. I can't explain why it would but I just feel like it would.
