"I'll cut them off" O.O
This is a pretty easy way to just help starving people around the world.

http://www.freerice.com

Play the vocabulary game, and for each question you get right rice is donated to people who need it. I found this on a couple forums I go to and thought I would spread it a bit. :D

Ah, yes, freerice. I love that site, and I probably spend way too much time putting off homework there. ^_^ Doubles as feeding the hungry and augmenting your vocabulary. I think I've donated more than 50,000 grains total, but I haven't done it in a while.

Oh, that? Once I got up to 1,000,000. I approximate it to be enough for a pot of rice.

I feel bad I only donated 2,000? I got tired of it, lol. I went to the other sites and answered the one question. :)

Once I got up to 1,000,000. I approximate it to be enough for a pot of rice.

Wikipedia

In its first six months of operation, FreeRice donated over 42 billion grains of rice. One month after the inception of the viral marketing program, users had earned enough points for one billion grains of rice. The United Nation's World Food Programme stated that this amount could feed 50,000 people for one day. Thus, approximately 20,000 grains of rice provide enough caloric intake to sustain an adult for one day. Using this calculation, enough rice is donated to feed about 7,000 people daily.

Seems the website is more effective than you thought.
