Forgive me, but what does OTP stand for? ![]()
Aeris Gainsborogh from FFVII Alys Brangwin from Phantasy Star IV Aya Brea from Parasite Eve I must have a thing for video game females who's names start with A.
The final battle - Skies of Arcadia A truly amazing, difficult, and spectacular fight against an overwhelmingly powerful villain. And man, the music... it's perfect. Absolutely flawless. If you've not witnessed the awesomeness that is Skies of Arcadia's final battle, I'll not spoil it for you. Go find a GC copy or order the DC original off of Ebay or something and see it for yourself. Kefka during the battle of Narshe - FFVI Ah, a classic boss fight, and since Kefka was the first major FF villain I ever fought against, it holds a very special bit of nostalgia for me. Up to this point, you've had to sit back and watch as Kefka commits atrocity after atrocity, and now he's personally leading a small army into Narshe to capture an esper for the Empire. But finally, after fighting tooth and nail past his guards, FINALLY you get some payback against this crazy son of a bitch. And I make it a special point to always include Cyan in this particular boss fight for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who's played the game. Suikoden II I'm not even going to list which boss I'm talking about in this game. And that's because it's so epic, I don't even need to. If you've played it, you KNOW which boss fight I'm talking about. That's how freaking incredible it is.
I can name several actually :3 Final Fantasy VIII Mega Man 7 and 8 Mega Man X5 SaGa Frontier Silent Hill 4 Legend of Dragoon Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter The Bouncer |

- I LOVED the game's concept. It was a really cool new direction for the Silent Hill games, while still maintaining the core gameplay and scare factor. I dare say, being stuck in your room for so long and seeing how it changes over time makes this easily the most immersive SH game to date. - Walter Sullivan is easily the best and most well developed villain in the SH series. And that's saying something considering that SH2 had an incredibly well crafted villain on it's own merits. - Henry and Eileen, despite being a potentially cool couple, are also great partners in battle. Their struggle to escape Walter's twisted world together is compelling, and it's incredibly nice to no longer have to go it alone. Even better... unlike Resident Evil Zero, this game is still scary despite that you've got a partner. Henry himself is just an average guy (a shy photographer no less), and Eileen is injured in a cast for crying out loud, yet they've gotta battle tons of beasties and traverse a long road out to escape. My sole complaint with the game is that there's one incredibly stupid puzzle the first time you go to the apartment world. There's an item you need that's in an obscure, easily missable, and in an unmarked location. And the apartments are large enough that you can spend HOURS looking with no luck. I seriously had to resort to an FAQ to progress the game, and this is the only SH I can say that about. Still, I love the game overall, and give it a solid 7/10.
For the first game, I liked the incredibly cinematic presentation of the story, how in-depth it was... and how educational it was. I've seriously heard stories about people who've written science papers based on info from this game, and actually got good grades on it. The battle system is also really fun too... it kinda reminds me of FFXII's system with it being in real time and allowing freedom of movement, but forcing you to wait until your ATB bar is filled... only done in random encounters. For the second game... honestly, I don't remember much about it. What I do remember is that it's slightly inferior in most respects compared to the first game, yet still very enjoyable regardless. I really need to play it again and see. Maybe I could do a marathon run of both games since they're quite short ![]()
Just to name a few: Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Persona 4 Animal Crossing: City Folk Arc Rise Fantasia Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia Punch-Out 3 Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Sin & Punishment 2 Luminous Arc 2 Ar Tonelico 2 Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 (YAY, this time it's on a system I actually own!!) Lotta 2's there O_o Stuff I MIGHT be looking forward to, depending on reviews and such, include: Sonic Unleashed Castlevania Judgement Rygar: The Battle of Argus |

Yeah, I really liked SH4, especially for the characters. It wasn't as awesome as some others but I don't see the need for hate. ![]() What are your thoughts on fish? ![]() What's your favorite emoticon ever? What do you think is your most overplayed song? Post what you think is the funniest YouTube video (if you go on YouTube). |

They're yummy! ... Er, seriously though, I like any fish that can't bite or sting you or whatever. I kinda feel sorry for them... they have such short lives and memory spans
^_^;; <----- This
I don't have one overall. But lately... Pain by Joanne Hogg from Xenosaga ep. I's soundtrack. I'm freaking addicted to that song.

Do you like symbolism? You already have a girlfriend, right? So, would you flirt with anyone that you meet online? ![]() Describe yourself in three words? |

Yes and no. I think it's really fun to mess around with when YOU are the one writing the story, and sometimes it's fun to pick up on when reading. However, I think some of the more elitist authors in history have a lot of pointless and/or nonsensical symbolism that their stories could easily do without. Not to mention, a lot of symbolism is so subtle that it'd be impossible even for someone with a strong literary background to pick up on without an English/Literature teacher or cliffnotes or something pointing it out to you.
Nope. I'm not that kind of guy. I did flirt a bit online BEFORE I got a girlfriend, but I wouldn't think of it now. And quite frankly, I think anyone of any gender or sexual orientation who has more than one romantic interest is an asshole, and likewise to anyone who purses someone who is already involved in another romantic relationship. I have no idea how people like that sleep at night and are able to look at themselves in the mirror. That said, it's not stopping me from frequenting a forum made up mostly of females. And in fact, I think there's nothing wrong with being kind to and making friends with people, regardless of gender, as long as that's all it is. Which probably sounds a bit colder than I really mean for it to be, but all the same, I want to make sure there's no gray area here. As far as I'm concerned, you either love your significant other, or you don't, period. And I love mine ![]()

Both. Yes, seriously. It depends on what I'd need to be studying/doing, whether I like the material or not, how long it will take, when it needs to be done by, etc. etc. etc. For example, I had to do a little project for a relative recently, and I chopped away at it whenever I could because it was fairly easy work and highly profitable for me. ![]() OTOH, studying for a Biology test? **** THAT. |

Oooh, good one! Um... let's see... well, I think I'd wanna do a repeat of Bastian's Journey in the BOOK version of The Neverending Story. Fantastica seems like a far more interesting and lively world in the book than in the movie (though I still liked the first movie). Plus it'd be interesting to see what my Fantastican self looked like and could do, and how my only meeting with the Moon Child would go. I'd also settle for visting the futuristic setting of the Ender saga to travel between planets and such. |

Why is a raven like a writing desk? Which would you rather visit: Mad Hatter or March Hare? When is a croquet mallet like a billy club? Who stole the Queen of Hearts tarts? |

No, I've never read Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass. Therefore, I'm just going to make up answers! ![]() Why is a raven like a writing desk? They're both depressing! Which would you rather visit: Mad Hatter or March Hare? Based off of the Disney movie, the March Hare. Of course, Disney tends to screw stories over bigtime in terms of source faithfulness, so who knows. When is a croquet mallet like a billy club? Would you think lesser of me if I don't know WTF a billy club is? Who stole the Queen of Hearts tarts? Must... resist... urge... to make... bad joke... Ahem. Um... someone without a head no doubt XD Um... The Ace? Or the Walrus? Perhaps the Jabberwocky?
