Twilight's vampires are not vampires. I don't see why people like a guy who stares at people while they're sleeping. It's too clichéd and one-dimensional. Oh, by the way, I don't recall joining this, but if I haven't, sign me up please. I just read the worst series of books in my life. Glad I have something else to read. PS. I'm back. |

A series of uncommon places

No Twilight vampires are not vampires. Hellsing, Anne Rice, Underworld, 30 days of Night, Dracula. ^Those are vampires. |

Not only that but the werewolves of Twilight aren't werewolves either. Honestly werewolves are not meant to be big huge puppy dog like wolves that you cuddle with. No they're supposed to be these hideous, monstrous, terrifying half-man, half-wolf creatures that cannot tell friend from foe and just mindlessly kill or bite people. Also when I told one my friends that mothers deserted their kids just to get a copy of Breaking Dawn she said it was worth it. I just wanted to go and &%$@! slap her. I also saw this 40 something year old lady holding a Twilight book in the bookstore. After seeing that I just wanted to go and ram my head into the wall. <_<

I didn't realize that it was that bad. Leaving your child for a book isn't worth it. I'm not a mother yet, but, in due time I will be. I'm not leaving my child for anything unless it's work. Then my child will be at the babysitter or daycare. Seriously, people leave their child for this crap? What is the world coming to? |

Don't forget Angel and Spike. Now, that's what believable modern day vampires who can fall in love are supposed to be like. |

To be honest, the only reason why I read the entire series was to see what happened tot he werewolves. Becuase I have an obsession with men associated with canines for some reason D: It wasn't the interest in vampires it was Wintry's strange way of fangirling. ..is that wierd? D: Loveholic: The modern day vampires are becoming more and more retarted. Like yesterday I saw this ad for a new teenage vampire book in Ninteno Power that read "Highschool really bites when your a vampire" and then featured a picture of some teen boy vampire smiling with an emo hoodie on. It was so dumb T_T |

You took that from the ad at the bottom of the page didn't you? I've realized that we get those ads, but only in this thread. Might just be me. |

One Emerged From Shadows Into Light
|
I can't really comment on Twilight itself, as I've only seen the movie (which everyone keeps telling me is woefully inaccurate), and have no desire to ever read the books. However, it does freak me out how some of it's fans act about it. So, while I dunno if I'd wanna join this club, if there were an anti Twilight-FANS club, I'd definately join that XD Also, Alucard (from Castlevania OR Hellsing, though I'm mainly referring to the former) or Vampire Hunter D could mop the floor with anyone in these stories. And I don't even wanna think about what Kain or Raziel from the Legacy of Kain series would do in that situation... |
