That reminds of Shuyin/Lenne in an odd way. Anyway, why do you ship Harry/Hermione? |

AA: Ah, why Harry/Hermione. I shipped them from the very start back when I was in 7th grade and read the first few books. I love how they work together, making up for each other's weaknesses. Where Harry has the tendency to rush in without thinking, Hermione will think things over logically, he has the physical prowress and she has the mental, and so on and so forth. They bring out the best in each other I think, and never once has Hermione ever given up on Harry or stopped believing in him. I love that she treats him as simply Harry- there's no hero worship or idolism in her relationship with him. She knows who he really is and accepts him for it. There are countless little moments in the books that show how close they are and how they communicate without speaking. Even other girls notice how close they are, like Cho, and are jealous of it. They treat each other with respect and underestanding, and I just love the quiet strength of their bond.

Book 4, hands down. It was IMO the best one, and none of the others even came close to matching it. The plot twists were incredible, the character development awesome, and the last chapters deliciously dark.

Alas, I would have to say Ginny. JKR expected us to take so much of Ginny on her word- Ginny is awesome, Ginny is pretty, Ginny is smart, Ginny is desirable, Ginny is talented, blah blah blah. She did far too much saying and not enough showing- Ginny goes from the shy girl who puts her elbow in the butter dish to being an awesome Quidditch played, confident, and good at hexes. Seriously. Where was the development? Why not intergrate Ginny into things more, show how she grows and changes? We see it happen with Neville, why couldn't it have been done with Ginny? It just really pisses me off that Ginny got turned into a Sue, and she didn't have to be.Other than Ginny, I honestly didn't really like Ron. He made me laugh and was good for relieving tension, but I got so sick of his attitude. He's really not the type of person I like too much. And the way he was always treating Hermione and Harry really got on my nerves. Ugh.

daydreamer: SPORTS UGH!! Lol. Well, I'd have to say horseback riding or fencing. I'm horse crazy, and I love watching people use swords. So awesome! <3 AA: Weeelll, honestly, not really. I like some of their songs that were used in ATU that I got from a friend of mine- saw the show, didn't like it- but I'm not a fan or anything. |

Machine: Hmm. Tough call. I think that there's a degree of mystical truth to it, but I don't believe that Astrology controls every aspect of my existence. Honestly, I try to judge a political canadate on who they are as a person, not their party. Their personality, their character, their ideals, what they say and what they don't say. All that good stuff. So I really don't have a preference either way. It's a huge bag of crap through- really you try and choose the lesser evil. I don't know- I've never had it!! |
