There will be a new rule in place that will restrict the types of threads allowed in the Lifestream section as of right now.

Threads asking advice on personal problems are NOT allowed. Those will be going in the General Chat section (and I will be moving the ones that are there). Only topics that deal with genuinely serious issues that affect everyone in some way/give room for everyone to have valid opinions on will be allowed.

I think this was a given in the first place but I guess some people didn't completely understand what was meant by "serious topics". It isn't for asking advice.

So again, the Lifestream section is NOT for drama/personal issues.

If you can't find a thread you have made there, you will most likely find it in the General Chat section now.

No offense to any of the members here, but thank you for this rule. To be quite honest, the Lifestream section is far too often plagued with people's personal issues which result in topics that usually get at most 5-8 posts. Personal issues, though I'm sure they feel serious, should be restricted to General Chat.

Should we make a topic in the General chat exclusively for personal issues and everyone would have to post there? It might solve the problem.

Nah, don't worry about it. A lot of people wouldn't get the attention that they would get in single threads. That and it might turn into another huge chat thread and we don't need any more of those.

Thanks Sadhana! :huggle:
