the girl who becomes a prince

Nope, Don didn't say anything in that scene. Remember, he never liked the Nightwatcher.
Lynn basically summed it up. The novelization has some scenes like the "ninja tag", in which the Turtles must race to a billboard in pairs. Mikey wanted to pair up with Leo. Donnie convinced him to be his partner, so that Raph and Leo would work together. And Mikey having a scrapbook about the Nighwatcher, much to Leo's disapproval. And Raph getting a medal from Splinter for leading the rescue. As for the comics: it's separated to five series. I only read a brief description on the thing, so I've never really read it. Raphael: How he got the Nighwatcher's outfit, and how Splinter chose Leo who was advanced enough to expand his skills by traveling outside the world. The two brothers are still fighting over how they should handle crime (Raph thinks they should handle the general crime in the outside world, Leo tells him that its the job of the police and that their job is taking care of aliens... the utroms and triceratons were mentioned). Raph eventually gets embroiled fighting the darker elements of the city on his own. Michelangelo: Having a new, uh, outfit, Mikey helped an old lady from a thief who's stealing her bag. This is where his Cowabunga Carl became popular to the kids. Donatello: He and Raph drifted apart (Raph even left his cellphone so he wouldn't be contacted, holy crud Donnie is Tifa o.0;), so he and Splinter were the only ones who'd usually do their nightly patrols. Donatello gets kidnapped by one of the 13 monsters (I think), so Splinter and Mikey went to rescue him. April: Her strained relationship with Casey was featured, up to her trip to Central America to find the stone generals. Leonardo: He literally went around the world, helping people along the way (such as freeing some kids from slavery and what have you), before settling down in Central America.
He was basically very disappointed at Raph. At least that's what my friend said, who has a copy. Wanna LOL? See the Japanese 2K3 opening! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti1CjkdnRUs&NR=1 I actually like this than the original version! And the ending! o.o; (I do dig Donnie's voice though, very polite) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvRw0LYaBuM...related&search= |

Raph disappointed everyone I think. By the end of the movie, he's even disappointed himself. Anger is a weapon only to one's opponent. |

Well anger makes Raph... Raph. What he really needs is a healthier way to blow off steam. I can't imagine him being, uh, nicer, in the sequel. At least for now, he sort of resolved with Leo. Still that doesn't mean they won't butt heads in the future. They still had a lot of things they disagree on. |

Water tribe what!

I hope so. I hate to say it but a happy Raph is a boring Raph. I heard they've already started making the sequel. Can anyone confirm? And thanks for info on the novelization and comics guys. It totally makes me want to get them even more. Maybe if I save up I can buy it through amazon.com or something. Though you'd think there'd be scans somewhere online :'( So apparantly Raph was pissed off at always having to fight weird creatures while normal people needed help. So he ended up ditching the group while they were fighting some crazy alien (?) thing to help an old man about to be mugged. Seems really sweet actually. I love that side of Raph. But that was yet again another source of contention between him and Leo which is odd because he himself went off to help regular people all over the world. To tell you the truth I never liked it when the turtles fought sci-fi monsters...It always was more enjoyable to see them fight the foot clan, or just help random people. |

Yeah, I guess this is why I never got attached to the 2003 cartoon, despite a huge positive shift from the old toon. Martial arts + Sci-Fi isn't a good combo. Well, except for Star Wars. But that's a whole different banana. Surely the human world can offer more on their story than the multiverse and parallel dimensions and what have you... they ARE a part of it, like it or not. |

EEEEW. NO! I mean Leo is cool. And so is Karai. But no... TMNT ships is where I draw the line. Seriously, I get mad when they're even paired up with anyone (especially poor Raph: I think he was given two girlfriends). And don't get started with each other. *shudder*
Imagi's next project is Getchaman/G Force. I'm sort of lurking in the TMNT boards, but I think Lynn is a member there (I recognize her posts, LOL!). She'd know. |

I LOVED Donny when I heard about that scene. Little sneak knew Raph and Leo were at each other's throat, and used that to win the Ninja Tag game-- in the end, Raph and Leo fought so much that Don and Mikey eventually won the game! ![]()
Remembering Mikey's poor abuse at the birthday party... *winces* I'd hate for him to be unpopular! XD Also, apparently during an early screening of the film at some convention or other, the birthday party was sequence was a bit longer. One of the kids had kicked Mikey in the crotch! Poor guy!
And the similarities continue! So... Raph has drifted apart from Donny because of Leo's absence. ... So Raph = Cloud, Donny = Tifa, and... Leo = Aerith??? ![]() I LUV YOU, ANTI. <3
Oh, I like that version too! It sounds like... an actual song, yanno? One that you could play on Winamp as a song, and not as the OP to a TV series. ^^ I prefer the animation that accompanied the English version, though, but they have the advantage of English animators around to match the animation to the song.
Yeah, I'm sure they'll continue to butt heads long after this fight. It just won't ever reach the movie's level of hurt and anger. (And yeah, their little spats are too amusing so I'd hate to see them gone: "Teacher's pet." "Ninja drop-out." Boys...) But with this out of the way, and really, it was such a big plot that there wasn't space for anything else; it finally leaves a chance to focus more on Don and Mikey.
That IS sweet. He kinda reminded me of JLU's Green Arrow there-- wanting to help the "little guy." (But as Bats aptly put it-- the "big guys" STEP on the "little guys", so they can't ignore the aliens either. :P) I really wanna get the prequel comics! There are previews of them on ninjaturtles.com, but they're definitely not enough... Problem is, I've never bought comics before, so I have no idea where to start! Hope I'll have time to find a comics store in Singapore before I head back. About the sequel-- the director has posted in one of the TMNT forums that a sequel is still a big "IF". The original "it's sequel time!" article went a bit ahead of itself, so right now, there's no confirmation for it. I really hope it gets done, obviously. This movie was a test-run; the sequel, now that they know what the audience likes, should be even more awesome! Seeeequel... T_T *prepares a Santa list that reads "TMNT SEQUEL!!!" in gigantic letters*
*echoes Anti* DDDDD: Not even Leo/Karai for me. I just dislike having the turtles paired with anyone. I feel a part of their tragedy is to die as they came: with each other. I guess they could crush on certain females (Don and April, for one), but I can't ever see them pairing up with any female. Human or not. (Although in one of the comic incarnations, I forget which, Mikey was paired up with a female... dinosaur... I think... O_O And Raph was paired with an anthropromorphic female fox, Ninjalara... whose very name makes me wretch in MarySueness.) And of course, the inherent Mary-Sueness of any romantic OC.
!!! Noooo... I'm not, I don't, ah.... *pulls a Raph* [size0]It's that obvious, huh? <.< >.> [EDIT] Fanartz! Jedi-- er, Jungle Leo. XD Donny plushie! Green Ink |

Hmmmmm. I see your point. And truth be told, LeoxKarai would seem to be there for the same reason any main heroxmain rival fic is there (usually yaoi). The only difference is they switch yaoi out for bestiality. |

XD.
We'd better stop there, or I may never watch the DVD with a straight face. T.T
Well, there's the DVDs, and the overall ticket sales from the world. We'll see.
Or maybe he just doesn't want to be with Raph either. XD Shame we never knew if Raph and Don patch up after driving each other crazy for a year. Well, most likely they did, as all siblings do... any arguments sparked blows over. BTW, Donnie plushie!!! *tries to wrench it away from Mikey* |

Wow everyone! You guys have so much discussion going on! I never saw the comics, and I really don't know much about the 2003 cartoon. When I see the Turtles in outerspace and stuff and dealing with batmanlike characters, I go to the next channel. Yeah, I'm not hardcore. T.T |

I remember the cartoon theme song..*TMNT...turtles in half-shelves, turtle power* that's all ![]() I used to roleplay TMNT with my siblings, we had these turtle masks that we would put on and then we pretend to be fighting foot soldiers ~ Yah, i'm really a boy in girl's skin ~.~" |
