The irregular bleeding? Nothing to worry about. Everybody's body does that. Lots of women continue to wear a pad or tampon for several days after the bleeding appears to have stopped. I'm not exactly one to talk about healthy periods from my own experience, but I've had enough child development and human bio classes to know a bit about it. As for the hormones, all they can really do is affect your moods and level of horniness. Heh, I go into heat, but at the same time become a PMS MONSTER. My married life should be fun

Heh heh. Hope you have a good time! :giggle:... Umm, here's another question. I also heard of a type of Birth Control Shot that works the same way as the pills. But if I were to take the shot instead of the pills, how do I know when Im supposed to get another shot or something? Its not like I can just go to the doctor everyday and get a shot right? |

Haha, yeah, sorry for the TMI. But hey, now you know. Okay, if you miss it more than twice, then see your doctor 'cause you might need to double up on pills. If you just forget one or two pills, then take them as soon as you remember.
The contraceptive injection does work the same way as the Pill, but it lasts much longer. There are two types, one lasts about eight weeks and the other lasts about twelve. If you choose this method, your doctor would most likely book you another appointment for your next injection. |

Perhaps I should have told my mother about wanting to take the shot instead. I just dont like taking pilss. But I dont like shots either . How many times must you see the doctor to recieve the shot? Oh and another thing! Will drinking carbohydrated drinks and light-acholic beverages ruin the process of the pills or the shot? (Not saying that I drink..:ermm:) |

I use to have the pill, But i find them annoying i use to forget to take it when i finally got on track they are great there not a 100% effect so always have extra protection. i dont reccormend pills because sometimes you get side effects like heavy bleeding bloating the injection is better or as i call it the magic rod (its lie a rod they put in your arm its small painless and doesnt leave a scare if your young talk to your parents about it. but its really effective no stressing over taking pills and stuff.) birth control is nothing to worry about id rather take a small pill then be holding a bundle of joy! |

See, I knew there were side effects involved. And now Im really scared... I went to the doctors office two days ago because I had a funny bump growing on my wrist and its been sitting there for 2 1/2 months. They told me to take medicine for it, but thats when I forgot I was on Birth Control Pills. The medicine I was taking was Advil, and I think it was interfering with the process of pills. And it was like, then I started getting sick and breaking out all over. The next thing I knew, I was throwing up all over the place and I had thrown up blood.....Im really worrying now.... And for some reason my mother's taking back to the doctor to be tested for a bowel movement (Not sure if I spelled it right, but I hope you knwo what im trying to say)....What is that exactly? |

I used be in a lot of pain during my period. My doctor said I could try birth control pills because it would stop the pain (well a little). It helped me a lot,but it took me a while to find the best pills for me. |
