I have -Reunion Files- and it doesn't say anything about water being associated with Tifa. Water, along with the music "Water" is associated with Aerith, end of story. Dear CloTis, stop making shit up, plzkthx.

Just ask them for proof. Otherwise, it is just their opinion, aka "bullshit".

Eh. Some random person probably just assumed and put it in. However, Wikipedia is actually not unreliable at all. Anybody can edit it, sure, but in the next few minutes someone from the site will edit out any invaluable information.

Wikipedia is more reliable than your average magazine article but sometimes is only as reliable as: some magazines say Tifa is Cloud's girlfriend and other's say he's stuck on Aerith.

Aerith is associated with water, not Tifa.

Both Tifa and Aerith share the role of main heroine in FFVII.

Like I said, Wikipedia isn't really unreliable. But I've never been to Encyclopedia Dramatica, so. -shrug-

They use Tv Tropes too... *is also unreliable sometimes*.
Seriously, anything that is written by fans can be biaised. We all think differently...
Only canon information counts... not interpretation of canon information... because some people will intepret the information very differently.
Look at TV Tropes when they assume a sex scene between Cloud and Tifa was really implied during the Highwind scene... The screen only blacked out because 2 people sleeping during the night isn't very interesting to see (that's why it happens in every inns).
