I've combined the posts for you. And I sure as heck hope it wasn't intentional, because if it was, and it's repeated, a docking of your post count will follow. ![]() Back on-topic: This is gonna sound terribly geeky, but maybe I just am one... Bookstores are my favourite shop. MPH and Times are the ones I frequent the most. Kinokuniya is my Promised Land-- it housed Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger, a book I'd been hunting high and low for ages. I just found Neil Gaiman's Sandman being displayed there, and hope to get at least one book from them someday. *shakes flies out of empty wallet* It also sells MANGA in English and Japanese, although I usually just go there to stare at the manga because they're so much more expensive than the piddly amount I pay for the Malay translations. I used to like AnimeTech a lot, because it sold anime exclusively. But in the both times I bought anime from them, both series came with some seriously !$@#ed-up subs that bordered unintelligible. So nowadays, I just go there to look at the merchandise. Look, not buy.

I don't dig malls at all, they're mostly populated with trendies and you hardly have any space to move around and everything is just too expensive. I live in Manchester so a mall that I can think of that's always full of teenagers who spend too much on designer labels is the Trafford Centre which is the biggest mall in Europe apparently. The clothes I see there all look the same but they just have a different label on them, there is no "quality" to the clothes, they're made of flimsy material that look like they only cost a few pounds to knock up on a sewing machine... Yet, teenagers are sucked into buying them for some odd reason, something that looks like only £5 to make has a price tag of over £30 - it's ridiculous. There's nothing ever original there that catches my eye. All the teenagers dress the same and are wearing the same fashions that they see in girl magazines or on MTV... I'm seriously not into it - I have my own taste in clothes so I'm very picky and fussy as it is, malls just can't satisfy my interests and needs regarding clothes. I shop in thrift stores, second hand clothes stores and charity stores. There I can buy vintage clothes and practically brand new designer wear that you don't see in many retail stores... Brown (real) Suede Jacket and Brown (real) Suede Skirt (from a thrift store) = both came less than £12 ($20). ![]() Three panelled Denim and Corderoy pants (£6 which is $12) and white corset-boned shirt (£4 which is $8) ![]() And hence, I don't need to shop at the mall when I can get better and cheaper at a thrift store.

I agree with everything there DH, I don't wear any designer labels except for a nike hoody, that's it. And that's only due to that one being the only one there Due to all the chavs shops in my highstreet, the only two shops I frequent are Woolworths and Game. Game for...well the obvious reason really. It has good deals most of the time and a place to trade in used games. Woolworths is the closest thing here to a CD shop, it's full of mainstream rubbish but occasionally I might find a rock album. And it's pretty good for DVDs too, it'll be getting AC on the 24th :) |

Elephants, while not my favourite animals EVARRR, do fascinate me. I once watched a documentary about a herd migrating to find new watering grounds. There was a point where a young elephant died from injury on the way. The rest of the herd continued moving, but the mother remained behind and kept urging the young to get up, using her trunk and tusks to push it to its feet. Some elephants continue to do so until their tusks break. It was a really sad moment. Brings up the question of whether elephants are able to mourn their dead as we do... My favourite pets are dogs. I have three. ^^ I also like cats, but my mom hates the strays that used to wander into our gardens to deposit their business, so we don't keep any. There was one report about a group of dolphins who helped protect a bunch of people stranded in the ocean from shark attack. That same group was hunted down later by other poachers, which upset the divers who were rescued. I also enjoy watching documentaries on sharks and the African Big 5. |

I'd have to go with Wolves, what fascinating creatures they are. I also like hyenas, but Wolves can't be beaten. |

What's your favourite hairstyle? Long hair or short? What, in your opinion do you perfere? Long hair or short hair? I think long hair is. Its whats in style in my opinion. Long, lush hair that blows in the breeze. Simply sexy..... Short hair is cool, but long hair takes 1st. What do you perfere? |

why hasn't anyone mentioned.... HORSES?!?!?! ![]() I love them. I live for them. I'd give anything to own one of my own! Horses, those beautiful sleek creatures that run like the wind and love with all their hearts. And dogs, I have two dogs back home and love them both to bits! One passed away and broke my heart, but the other is still well and he's my bestest best friend in the whole world. Nothing beats falling asleep together with your dog's head in your lap. I could never never ever imagine life without my dog. Aaaahhh how I miss him..

My favorit animals are turtles. They have a hard shell that is able to block out the world and all of it's enemies and they move slowly. Which, in my beliefs, allows them to accumulate patience

I prefer short hair for its practicality. It washes quickly, it dries quickly, it doesn't get in your face when the wind blows the wrong way, it doesn't stick to your neck on hot days, it isn't some annoying appendage bobbing from your head when you go running, you don't have to have a rubber band handy to tie it up and an extra rubber band in case that one breaks halfway... Although I know some guys whose requirements for their girlfriends includes having long hair. But as a girl who actually has to deal with that long hair 24/7, short hair's for me. That said, I have long hair right now. What can I say? I've finished college, have no classes to run to, so I guess I can afford to spend some extra time towel-drying my hair. It's reached the small of my back now, but I'll probably trim it heftily whenever I start classes again. |

I have long hair right now, I only have short hair when I dye it black, always wanted long white hair, but I don't mind short white hair either. Either length is fine, depending on the colour. |

Hehe, I used to be able to sit on my hair. It was great, but so impractical. It would get in the way, I would get hot and sweaty, and like Lynn said, I broke so many hairbands tying my hair back. I have it short now, just reaching the shoulders, and it's great. I love having short hair, it makes me older, and more mature. My mum cut it, and I was so scared, cuz she's only ever trimmed my hair. But I love it, she did a great job.

Long!! Short hair is cute but I can never have it. It doesn't suit me, seeing that I have an awful SQUARE face, so I have to have long hair to make it less awful. That, and my mum is a sucker for long hair - she freaks out if I so much as mention the thought of getting a short haircut!! ![]() I blow dry everyday though, so I don't know much about the troubles of maintaining long hair. |
