Yeah, the hints are there all right... then again, it may not mean a thing. Leaving a path open for possible continuations does not necessarily mean they’ll actually make them. Guess it all depends on the sales of the things already released. Now, if they really make something big again... one thing I’d wish for would be for this ‘thing’ to be truly THE LAST – and intended as such from the very beginning. This entire ‘compilation’ suffers from trying to please everyone, and IMO that’s the main reason it fails. When the original game was released, without the baggage of fan’s expectations, it was full of surprises, and it’s creators were not afraid to go against the player’s wishes and hopes (as all Aerith fans know all too well...). But now they’re trying so hard to leave everything open ended, to avoid doing any real changes to characters and the world itself, that it’s really killing the stories they tell. All those spinoffs and side stories bring so little new content it’s not even funny. Perhaps if they were to make something truly final they could act more freely, and once again come up with interesting storyline... maybe... To put things straight, I still have some faith left, and I believe that if they stop their ‘step up, step down’ dance, things could become interesting once again. And honestly, I don’t really care how they end it (in terms of main storyline as well as the LT), as long as it’s a solid ending served with good storytelling, without that stale “you-figure-it-by-yourself” coating. Just a thought. |

In the middle of dawn. Staring at the twilights.

I did said those were hints, yet I never said they were definite. Anyways, we have to remember that 70%, or so, of this fandom (FFVII's fandom), simply loves fan-service, and as long as they are pleased, that'll represent profit for SE. |

I hope it dont end Cloti but if u think about it there is more Cleris evidence than Cloti...like...How in every FF all the Heroines fall for the Non-Human A.K.A. Magical Holy People like SquallxRinoa and ZidainxGarnet...Ect...it goes on and on thats why i turned Cleris instead of Cloti..i used to be Cloti but that was when i was like 6 years old but i hope its either ff7-2 or a Remake if it is F7-2 i would hope the plot to be like this Aerith wakes up and everything is like abanned and she use's her sixth scene to find Cloud Kinda like Silent Hill meets Fatal Frame dont ask why i said that just a thought

I heard someone say that this compilation was gonna be something very different, and something unexpected. But if it's so, I hope it'll be good if there is another sequel to anything. I'm gonna keep guards up and wish Square the best if they're planning to do some more FFVII work. This could even mean the end of speculation, maybe they'll tell more to fans than they used to. I just hope Square isn't using the same elements just to attract whatever they are hoping to get. |

That's very true about the fan-pleasing stuff they've been so concentrated on. If FFVII had the popularity, the fans, and the same people in charge as they do now, when the original FFVII came out, they would have never killed off Aerith, even if they thought themselves she would have the most impact (thus proving a stronger point). It just comes down to the fans and money now, its rather sad. Would it have turned out the same with different people (aka Sakaguchi) as the director? Seeing DC's secret ending, I thought for sure they were thinking of a sequel (it couldn't end there, could it??) but then thinking it might be bought up in CC seems to be an alternative. I really hope that's it, and they don't make another FFVII spin-off. Its just too much. But seeing how much hype and money they made from the previous ones, I wouldn't be suprised if they did. Maybe Sakaguchi would have refused to make any (more?) sequels and let it rest, but with Nomura, hmmm, I don't know. And honestly, with Nomura's fan-pleasing-non-changing attitude, I doubt the end of the compilation would be anything too surprising, except if it were some stupid random plot twist involving a Sephiroth come back. |

Eh...not that Sephiroth coming back-wit-sephiroth cells again, I'd faint and cry for spending all the doe just to see him come back again <_<. Yeah I'm tired of that stuff. Square does know how popular their FFVII is, so it's no surprise they invest on it more than other games. But I'd like it if they'd focus more on their imagination than what fans want this time. There should be some type of ending to all the speculation someday. I don't think they can carry it on like this anymore and think they can please fans with the same over and over again. We're just tired with speculation over speculation that's all. Well, I wonder what will become of Square in the next future with all these sequels and crap. |

Just to pass on a theory I read on one of the KH forums: It's theorised that Nomura may actually be hinting that he'll be in charge of FFXIII. If anyone remembers one of the interviews he conducted, I believe Nomura mentioned that the number 13 shown in AC had some importance. Since this next project apparently isn't KH-related, there's as good a chance as any that Nomura is slated to head FFXIII. I don't think he's been in charge of any FF game before, has he? |

If it is any sort of sequel, I don't think that they mean Crisis Core. Didn't they already say that was (yet again) about the Nebelhiem event? I hopre that the secret is that Nomura's in charge of XIII, simply because I do NOT want another FFVII sequel. |
