I pronounced Tseng 'seng', then again, my culture might influence the way I speak.

As for others, I always pronounced Tifa 'Tif-fah', might as well get used to 'Teefa'.

Me too. :no: It's so weird adjusting.

Aghh, It's always a debate between how Zidane is said >_<.

Other pronouciations:

Cecil - Ses-uhl. (Someone told me that it was See-uhl)
Rydia - Rid-e-yah.
Celes - Cells. (My cousin says it Suh-les)
Tifa - Tif-ah
Tseng- T-sang ( :lol:)
Quistis Trepe (This is hard to type!) - Kwis-tiss Tree-puh (Don't put so much stress into into 'uh' part)
Zidane - Sai-daine

and finally...

Tidus - Tie-dus

I say Cecil as Seh-Seel.

Rydia = RIGH-dee-ah

Celes - Cel-less (I like the connection to 'celestial')

Quistis - Used to be Kwis-tis, now I can Kees-tis. (Though I sometime fall into old habit of saying Kwis-tis.)

Irvine - ERH-vine.

Reno - Reh-noh.

Elena - Eh-len-uh.

Just the thing about Tseng's name is (and I learned this while studying japanese) that a ts just lengthens the s. You don't pronounce the T. Like the word tsuname. So I always seng, pronouncing the s like that of tsuname. Not to sound like prententious know it all. ^^;;;

I know about that, Neko. Since I'm also studying Japanese (or Jap as many people at my school nicknamed affectionately). And it's tsunami, not tsuname. (Great, I sound like my old English teacher.)

I was not saying it for you. I was talking about the people who pronounced the T with it. Also, I thought it may have been tsunami but I wasn't sure. ^^

That depends on which Asian country ya talking about. One might pronouce it as 'Seng', another as 'Sung' or 'Zing'. There are those who use 'Zeng'. Local pronounciation affect the language.

Not only did KH2 screw up the pronoucation of Tidus' name which is "TEE-dus" but they also screwed up Seifer's name which is pronouced "SEE-FER" and not "SIE-FER" <_<
