I updated my MSN Messenger and it got changed to Windows Live Messenger, this happen to anyone else? :mellow: There's nothing wrong with it, just that I'm a bit cheesed that I don't have most of my contacs up the top of the page anymore, and having to edit them all takes time

NUUUUUU! Darn it. I ended up in a "love".../ "like" triangle. WHY AM I APART OF IT I DID NOTHING WRONG! My bestest friend liked one of our friends. Well guess what? ...He likes me! I don't like him that way, I like him as a brother!So jeez. Friend = Guy = Me = Nobody. Now my best friend is upset, and feels like she'll never find somebody. Ever. EVEN THOUGH WE'RE ONLY IN FLINPPIN' HIGHSCHOOL! ...so much drama. Anybody know if I can do anything to make my friend not upset? |

^Yep, if I'm not wrong, MSN 8 is Windows Live Messenger. The only problem I've had with it so far is that my IMs get messed up when I try to send them in "Appear Offline" mode.

it's been a few days since i've cut...i've been online for hours just typing and looking at pics of bands just trying to take my mind off of cutting...i'll be 20 in exactly 2 months and i've been doing this since i was 11...i've been hospitalized several times, i've had stitches...i just can't stop...there is no drug that makes me fell the way cutting does...i've done pretty much everything too...i used to take anything just to get me high and not think about my life...and i ended up in rehab twice over drugs and alcohol...now i just do pills and weed...but i started drinking again...i was just in the hosptial about a month ago but nothing #*@$%'ing works...i'm sick of being a slave to a #*@$%'ing blade...but it's what i've grown to love...i love cutting...but i #*@$%'ing wish i could stop...someone im me or talk to me...i'm sick of losing this fight...i can't take it anymore |

OMG, you have no idea!!  NYU is the most applied to college in the country, and it's almost Ivy League. I've been working on getting into the place throughout all of high school, AND I MADE IT! It's SOOOOO hard to get in. I DID IT. I DID IT. I CAN'T BELIVE I DID IT! No one in my family thought I'd be accepted! OMG, I'm so happy, I'm still crying.Getting into your first choice, the only university you wanted to go to, is the absolute PERFECT birthday present! (Of course, my birthday's not until tomorrow but still  ).

Congrats Sadhana! That's absolutely brilliant, is NYU a very big and well respected university? I've heard that in America that you don't get into your first choice very often because of high expectations and grades. That's a very well done to you  I'm heading back to college myself in September, I'm going to do Hairdressing

Yes, NYU is a pretty big and extremely well-respected university. Like I said, it's the most applied to college in the country, and they reject about 80% of people who apply. I've already seen half my friends get rejected from their first choices, schools not half as difficult to get in as NYU, and I was so afraid I wouldn't be accepted. But I was! Yayyy! It's great that you're going back to college! Hairdressing sounds like a pretty fun thing to study. Good luck and everything!
