Cloud usually refers himself as "Ore wa".

"Ore wa" is slightly more manly than "watashi wa", which can be used by both males and females. I know, the horror. Why is Cloud speaking in a more manly way than Sephy. :lmao:

I thought "boku wa" was the masculine term. I'm totally lost here. @_@;;

Oh, my friend translated that scene in full for me! :fangirl:

**Note: Aerith uses "anata" here, which means "you". If you wanna make a big stretch and jump to conclusions, wives tend to use that term when they're talking to their husbands. *laughs* Else, it's just a more feminine way of saying "you". Note also that Tifa used "kimi" when talking in AC, which is less affectionate.

In another thread, Difinity told us that Tifa also uses "anata" when speaking to Cloud in KH2. I've yet to hear which form *Cloud* uses when talking to the girls, though.

I guess Tifa just used "kimi" in AC when talking to Cloud? What did Aerith use in AC when talking to Cloud?

Nope, Aerith never used "you" in AC, she just said Cloud's name. :)

Yup yup, I think the order goes boku wa > ore wa > watashi wa, or something like that. I forgot whether boku wa or ore wa is more modern.

"Boku wa" is a politer way to say you. But usually it's the guys who use that.

UPDATE:

Now I understand why Aerith wasn't given a big role in Cloud's side story. She's a lot more active in the plot of KH itself.

Ansem's MCP/Computer is zapping Heartless from the data into their world, and Leon couldn't do anything about it (and possibly explains how the Heartless overrun their world in the first place). Cid and Yuffie asked Sora to go to Aerith and Leon.

Sora will contact Tron, while Leon has to go to Cid to get the necessary program to battle the MCP. Aerith said that she will stay in the Computer room to watch out the Heartless and Sora. Leon hesitated to leave her all alone, but when Aerith gave the glare (tm), he relented (man, she's on a roll, first Dyne and now Leon?). XD Oh, and a funny scene of Cid and Merlin losing their tempers at each other that Merlin actually zaps Cid. Poor guy.

Basically Leon runs around doing necessary stuff and Sora defeating Zeg and the MCP. Eventually, Tron became the computer mainframe himself after defeating it.

Cloud, Leon, Cid, Merlin, Aerith, Yuffie, Sora, Donald and Goofy looked at the light falling from the sky. Aerith remembered the name of their original world as Radiant Garden. I don't know why Tifa isn't there. She's not a local?

Notice the balls of light? Apparently it's Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden's defense mechanism. When the MCP was malignant during that time, it will attempt to attack Sora (I get KO because of that, grrr). After Tron took control, said balls of light will attack the Heartless. Pretty neat, really.

Saw Sephiroth. But since Sora is level 42 and I'm in hard mode and Sephiroth is reportedly much stronger since last time, I didn't bother to talk to him yet. Will build up levels. XD

Visited Twilight Town, and whoa, lots of surprises in the plot for me. Oh, and I realize Axel is cool, and that Sora's duel with another hooded XIII Order is SO FRIGGING AWESOME.

Hadn't Axel died in CoM?

It is not that I don't belive you, because I do, but I'm pretty sure that dude died in CoM. If you played it, you'll know I'm correct. Unless there would have been some plot twist that I'm unaware of.

Well, he played quite a huge role in KH2, really. He's the red head who can use fire, right?

Besides, another character who was "destroyed" in the past game is in KH2 as well. So it's plausible Axel survived in CoM.

Well, if Rufus was alive in AC, Why can't Axel be alive in KHII? It seems that for Nomura, death is no barrier.

...Sephiroth and Aerith comes to mind... XD

But yeah, Rufus being alive after 8 years me believing he's dead is a bit of a turn off. I mean, what are the odds a person surviving a direct hit from WEAPON? (Sorry Lynn).

BTW, we're veering off. XD

No, no, no, he was the only one to survive in CoM. All the rest died.

I didn't like Axel until I heard Roxas's story and what his connection to Roxas was...it's really sad...
