Technically, Riku already showed up in Roxas' flashbacks. But he's not doing anything dramatic for me to say something about him. Sorry. ^^;

But so far, he has not yet contacted Sora.

****

Because the pirates are pretty hard, I was forced to back off and level up from the last world I've been (Timeless River, actually)...

Level 25 when Sora can take less damage from zombie pirates, and managed to finish that stage. Barbossa is kinda disappointing as a boss though. Funny stuff in the last scene regarding Elizabeth, Jack and Will.

Atlantica! Little Mermaid. Holy potato, you get to see Ariel sing "Part of Your World" in Japanese. 0.o;

Well, Sora's not saying it, but I'd bet he must be wondering the place looks a little different last time he's there. The music mini-game reminds me of Dance Dance Revolution (and I suck in that game). Fortunately it seems you get to push one button, unfortunately... it may be just a tutorial. Trip is short though, am surprised it was over.

Got into Agrabah, and Sora meets Iago. I guess Nomura is using the "Return of Jafar" story (even though I remember watching it years ago as a kid and thought it sucked) here. Agrabah sure looked different. The interior of the Cave of Wonders was revamped. o.0;

Sorry I'm moving so slow... I'm sharing this game with my brother and my cousin.

...with the exception of Mulan II. Let's face it, for a Disney sequel, that was somewhat impressive. Not OMGWTFWOWBETTERTHANMULAN1--but far more decent than RoJ was. :huggle:

Alright.

I GET TO FIGHT LEON AND YUFFIE IN THE UNDERWORLD COLISEUM! WOOTNESS and brings back fond memories of their last fight in KH! And man, Yuffie teleports around as a ninja like crazy. It was fun. :D

Surprisingly, Yuffie was harder to defeat than Leon. And this is not me being biased. After she teleports she twirls her shuriken making her invulnerable and then she throws the weapon at Sora. But because it was such a pain reaching that point, I am forced to concenrtrate to kick their butts.

... sorry Leon and Yuffie *hugs*...

Finished Agrabah, and am heading for Nightmare Before Christmas. I really should see that film, someday. :/

And Kairi finally enters the story. Sora has yet to visit Twilight Town...

Hehe, hope you don't mind me hijacking bits of your thread, Anti! I just got the game myself (a WORKING version, thank goodness!), but I don't think the board would be interested in yet another player diary. :P

Unless maybe to see how Lynn fumbles herself around the game's completely foreign Japanese. :P

So far, I'm LOVING the little tidbits in the game! Granted, I'm not that far in yet (just figured out that I'm, apparently, supposed to stick those posters on the wall and stuff) but there's something inherently awesome about playing a sequel. Now I know how all you SuikoI people felt after playing SuikoII! :yahoo:

I adore Roxas' blond friend. I caught the words "blue dream, blue sky" in one of his dialogues-- he sounds a bit of a dreamer, aww!

The part where the world's name appears on-screen always makes me squee. :lol: I'm glad they kept that for this game. I also love the aesthetic improvements they made for the menu. The little moving train on it is so cute!

VIVI. EEEE. HE'S SO SHORT. :fangirl: And Fuu looks and sounds absolutely adorable, I just love her!

I think I made a booboo and accidentally chose "magic" before fighting Seifer. Roxas was running around waving a magic wand, not that plastic sword!

...

*wishes she has Wilhelm seated beside her* xD

I think choosing the wand gives Sora certain abilites, just like the game.

Update:

Kairi was taken by Axel (but not before she befriended Roxas' friends in Twilight Town), much to Sora's dismay. He obtains his Oathkeeper back. There's a Seifer squee worthy moment when, impressed by Sora's strength when he protected him, Fuu and Rai from the Nobodies, he gave the trophy Roxas won in Struggle Battle in the prologue in an all so cool manner.

OH, BTW, I'VE SEEN THE CLERIS SCENE!!!

BTW, not sure if I'm being accurate. I just caught some phrases and whatnot.

It's basically Sora and Cloud meeting again in the marketplace. Cloud makes references of him being in the darkness once, and that he's somehow blaming Sephiroth for it. 0.o;. Cloud basically asks Sora that if he ever saw Sephiroth or anything, be sure that he'd inform him first thing. Cloud also warned him that man is dangerous. As Sora was about to leave, Aerith appeared and asked them what they were talking about. Sora could only say "Uhhh," and Cloud said it was nothing. Aerith leaned forward, saying "Hmm." She then asked if he's leaving soon. Cloud answers that wherever he goes, he'll always return here.

Aerith asked "Really?" and Cloud says "Yeah." while staring sideways. Aerith replied that he looked so serious, but she understood.

When Cloud said "Huh?" Aerith replied "That as long as you know the light in your heart, you can always come back here."

Cloud said "You're right."

Aerith said, "And that's why I should stay here, right, Cloud?" Cloud says yes and then leaves. Aerith wonders aloud if he'll be alright. Sora replied that he believed in the light in Cloud.

Aerith agreed, saying "That's true."

Nice scene actually! XD *squee*

The YuRiPa fairies are cute, I find myself laughing at an offended Paine when Yuna commented she made such a bad lie. And Tifa! Yes, I know you guys don't like it. But she's unusually violent... 0.o; she literally tries to tear Ansem's room apart looking for the computer room and then the password. I also love her bit about when she was asking about spikey haired man, and Sora touches his hair.

Unfortunately, the Tron biking mini game is kicking my butt, methinks I should level up a bit...

I can read katakana, and I know some phrases, as said before I just piece together the words I can understand.

Actually, this scene reminds me of Sora and Kairi in Traverse Town's sewers in KH, when Kairi didn't put up a fight when Sora told she can't come with him.

OHMYGODTHATISTOOCUTE!!!!

Thank you soooo much, Anti, I can't wait to see that scene myself! Aww, good ol' Aerith, she sounds like she understands Cloud so well! :fangirl: :fangirl: This scene definitely deserves a high-quality video online, I want to watch it on my comp too!

Holy carp, Anti, you really made my day with this one. Thank yooouuu~ :huggle:

And thank all that is holy that you know Japanese. T_T

Indeed, kinda reminds me of Riku in that aspect. I'm suspicious, but I adored how everything became okay again just before he and Roxas dueled in the STRUGGLE. ^_^ Aww, Friendship Moment!

I still think he and their chubby friend should've been named "Biggs" and "Wedge" respectively. :P

Heheh, and sure, I'll squee about all the small things in this game and you handle the heavy-duty news. xD

:lmao: I think it's great!

Aerith is saying something like... She will stay 'here' (I'm assuming "here" = Hollow Bastion?) to wait for him, because Cloud will always return here. Of course, in my Clerisy head, that obviously means Cloud will return to Aerith. :cleris:

It doesn't seem to me like Cloud is still searching for his light. Aerith seems to think the light is something that exists within his heart. I would still have to say his "light" is Aerith, or rather, his 'connection' to her....because she says "as long as you know the light in your heart, you can always come back here".

The line "And that's why I should stay here, right, Cloud?" seems to support, as well, the idea that light = the connection they share. Aerith implies that she will be waiting for him when he comes back, and Cloud agrees to it. How cute... :wub:

Good point. It seems to me like Aerith believes in Cloud. She doesn't put up a fight to go with him because she knows, deep down, that he'll succeed. On the other hand, Tifa is constantly worried about Cloud. She always has to tag along with him, even if she's not wanted there, because it seems to me like she doubts him and fears he may fail. Reminds me of the LT in Lufia:Rise of the Sinistrals (if anyone's ever played that game) where the hero ends up loving the girl who believed in him. The other girl (his childhood friend) gives him up because she realizes she's constantly doubtful and too worried over him. She realizes that she doesn't have enough trust and faith in him :)
