Sefie's predicament: She's got this cd of classical songs, but it's an educational cd so the songs are broken up into lesson sections, and are spread out among several tracks. To be able to put them on her MP3 player, she would like to rip them, and merge them into whole songs. But she doesn't know how! Helpzors? |

To rip the tracks into mp3 files, you'll need a program to do that. I'd suggest searching for freeware mp3 rippers on Google, but I'll look through my list of softwares to see if I have any with me that I can send you. :) To combine the mp3s into one track, you'll need another program. For that, I suggest using the freeware Audacity. It's pretty easy to manage, allows you to edit the tracks in rather versatile manners and it's more than enough if you just want to combine them all into one file. |

Glad I could help! If you can post the song here one day, I'd love to download it! I'm a sucker for classical music, even if can't tell a Beethoven from a Mozart! Ah, good that you already have a mp3 ripper... because I don't! What's the use buying 50+ softwares in one CD when I don't even get what I want? *kicks her software lists*

*kicks self* Okay, need to keep track of threads more diligently. ![]() If you could just send a couple through YSI, it would be lovely! I'd opt for going through MSN, as you wouldn't have to wait for it to load on YSI and all, but I can't seem to log into the damnable thing for whatever reason.
