*coughLeorith?cough* True, true. Aerith was with him when Leon trains in that underground cavern, after all. Even though it seems like Yuffie's the one with the crush on him. And their extra interaction in the KH manga is so cute!Aerith: *kills Leon with her specialised drinks* Leon: Milk... soda... lethal. x_x I like to think that she sees a bit of Cloud in Leon, and he sees a bit of Rinoa in her, hence their friendship... and that would eerily parallel how Aerith had seen a bit of Zack in Cloud in FFVII.
*melts* Fighting a war just for Aerith? FB, you're sappifying me! ![]() Might not be the Organisation, though. Don't they use those stretchy white Nobodies instead? *glares at date* December. Not. Here. Yet.

Oh, man! That would rock! That might explain why Yuna and Rikku are wearing their FFX-2 gear, rather than the much more suitable FFX clothing. I would just die of happiness if Yuna was searching for her "light" in KH2 and was then reunited with Tidus at the end!

Well, the Underworld is like the Farplane in the KH world. It isn't Hell or anything. Auron is just there because he is dead.

I dunno... Auron was working with Hades. Hades is lord of the Underworld. In Greek mythology, the Underworld is hell. But maybe I'm looking into this too much. -_- |

The Underworld is not Hell, it is a place for the souls of the dead. You guys seem to be missing the point I tried to make. -_- The Underworld is a varied place. It is not simply one thing or the other. For example, here is a map of the Underworld: http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/Underworldmap.html From a Greek mythology website: The Underworld The underworld is hidden in the earth. It is the kingdom of the dead and ruled over by Hades. Hades is a greedy god who is greatly concerned with increasing his subjects. Those whose calling increase the number of dead are seen favorably. The Erinyes are welcomed guests. He is exceedingly disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave. For most, life in the underworld is not particularly unpleasant. It is rather like a miserable dream, full of shadows, without sunlight or hope. A joyless place where the dead slowly fade into nothingness. Geographically, the underworld is surrounded by a series of rivers: The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness). Once across the rivers an adamantine gate, guarded by Cerberus, forms the entrance to the kingdom. Deep within the kingdom is Hades vast palace, complete with many guests. Upon death a soul is lead by Hermes to the entrance of the underworld and the ferry across the Acheron. There is a single ferry run by Charon to take the souls across the river. Only those who can pay the fare, with coins placed on their lips when buried, receive passage. The rest are trapped between two worlds. The souls then enter through the gates. Cerberus will allow all to enter but, none to leave. The souls then appear before a panel of three judges, Rhadamanthus, Minos I, and Aeacus, who pass sentence. The very good go to the Elysian Fields. Others are singled out for special treatment. Sisyphus and Tantalus being prime examples of the later. So, if you are good, you can go to the Elysian Fields, which is rather like Heaven. The extremely bad go to Tartarus, which is like Hell. And yet others are singled out for particularly horrific punishments. Some info on Tartarus: Tartarus Tartarus was spawned from the primordial chaos. With Gaea he fathered Typhoeus and Echidna. At once both a place deep beneath even the underworld and a personification of the place. So dark and sunless is Tartarus that its gloom has its own personification - Erebus. To reach Tartarus an anvil dropped from the surface would fall for nine days. It is below the roots of the earth and the sea. Surrounded by a bronze fence with gates of iron it is used as the ultimate place of imprisonment. The Hecatoncheires act as its guards. Zeus imprisoned most of the Titans here. So, the Underworld is not simply Hell. It is Heaven and Hell.

I didn't mean a literal Christian Hell. I meant it in another way... sorry ^^. I meant it's not a place full of sunshine and happiness... the souls of the dead simply disappear in the underworld. Not a particular cheerful vacation spot for a dead person to be in, IMHO. |

Yeah, the majority of the Underworld is somewhat bleak, but there are the Elysian Fields, which are the epitome of happiness and contentment. Then, on the other end of the spectrum, is Tartarus, which is truly Hell. |
