Does anyone watch Law and Order SVU?

I do but I watch it on USA. My TV makes NBC look crappy. Static like. I can barely watch Heroes on it.

Aww, I'm sorry DivineRose!!! That sucks horribly! :(

*nods* Yes, freaking winter hiatus...

And my YouTube video of a Bones commercial for the SECOND SEASON just got deleted for copyright infringment over A YEAR after I put it up.

*bangs head repeatedly on her desk*

Youtube has been getting really strict lately about vids and copyright stuff. They've mostly been out to get anime and game vids, but it doesn't surprise me that they're now cracking down on TV vids too. It's really frustrating. >_<

I'm sorry about having to wait until Jan. for more epis, I know how hard it is to wait. :( That and then the writer's strike doesn't help matters any. A lot of shows are quickly running out of new episodes to show. I know I still have about 13 or 12 left of SPN, but I think CSI has run out (not that I really watch anymore since that horrid episode. . .) and a bunch of others. I wish they would just settle matters already and get on with stuff. *sighs*

Well, I know House has three or four episodes left, so I get that for at least three more weeks in January if the strike isn't solved by then, and the Bones promo had new scenes in it, so I assume they had some more filmed, right?

Do you think YouTube will go after the AMVs?

I would think so- they're probably taking a break for Christmas to make you sweat it out. There should be a way for you to check to see how many episodes you have left before the writers' strike affects your shows.

They already have. Death Note vids get taken down really quickly, along with Fruit's Basket and FMA. Supposedly copyright infringement, even though they're made for nothing but fun. I mean honestly, the makers of the vids are making any profit or anything, so I don't understand why they're yanking them off. I can understand getting upset about whole episodes being put up, but AMVs are like free advertisment for them!

Wow, I hope Lutearina's videos don't get affected by this. D:

I guess that if I ever finish my first AMV, I shouldn't put it on YouTube.

Ack, I know. Youtube has already removed some of my favorite AMVs. People should really start finding other places to upload their vids, instead of relying on Youtube so much. Youtube gets pissy easily. <_<

In the middle of this month, YouTube started acting weird. People put videos up and like a few minutes later, the videos stopped working. You click on it and it would just bring you on the same screen. You didn't go anywhere. It drove everyone nuts.

Hmm... I noticed that started happening a few months back. Believe me, I'm at Youtube all the time. It doesn't do that to me much anymore, though.

That's why one of my friends puts her AMVs on Putfile. She got yelled at for copyright infringment, too.

Oh well, at least I'll still have my video blogs.

Curse you, YouTube, curse you.

Mmm. That's too bad. Is there no place doesn't have a fit over copyrighted material?!

Thanks for nothing, YouTube.

We really do need a place for anime and game videos specifically- Youtube has become the biggest pain in the butt about them. It's really irritating. >_<

Well, this sucks.

We could do Google Video, you'd just have to be careful about letting people download your stuff.

I couldn't even watch videos properly on YouTube anymore. It's annoying. <_<'
Before I'd even save videos using SaveYouTube or YouTubex. Now those sites aren't working anymore.

If you want streaming anime and some AMVs, that's where you want to be.(For now) It allows for extremely good quality videos too; so much so, that it makes youtube look like poo on a stick sitting atop a large pile of even more poo. Of course, higher quality also means it's more suited for high speed internet. 56kers are going to have to wait a while for it to buffer. There are alot of french, spanish and german subs in there too so if you only want english subs you'll have to filter through.

Happy anime-ing. =)

EDIT: Oh and they even give the option to download the movies. Just click the down arrow when the video first shows up. Alot better than having to download a 3rd party program to download files. (And again, better quality videos, so you don't have crappy, blurry, off sync audio versions of the original files)

EDIT2: Bah forgot something else. You don't have to watch separate videos either. You could watch a whole 2 hour movie without having to click on part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... etc.
