:lmao: No way. Are you saying some Clotis are actually trying to pass Denzel off as Tifa and Cloud's son?! :lmao:

Just throw them the link to Case of Denzel. You even get some short interaction between Denzel and his parents, so there's absolutely no room for doubt.

Yeah, I've seen people say that, too. However, the ones who say that are the ones who haven't bothered to read the novella's and other material about the Compilation. Unfortunately, I think that's the majority of FFVII fans, both Cleris and Cloti. <_<

To me, Cloud seemed to be painfully trying to put up a hopeful facade at the beginning. You can see his true emotions emerging as the story went on...Cloud wasn't happy at all..he didn't think he was going to be alright at all.

Also , with regards to the above quote, Cloud became very quiet for a moment, and then he spoke words like "Because you're with me" Seemed to me, that line "because you're with me" didn't come naturally to him...he had to ponder, before giving the"correct" reply.

And Tifa's reply was the biggest clue to Cloud's state of mind during the game. tifa said "But I've always been with you" i.e. if Tifa's the reason for Cloud to feel "alright", Cloud should have been alright all along, because she was always with him. Yet, Cloud wasn't. This is the biggest clue that he was merely putting up a facade here, that he didn't feel all right at all, not even when Tifa was with him.

I disagree very much with certain Clotis' claim that Cloud was alright in the beginning (ie not in guilt, not in grief) and was prepared to move on with Tifa until Geostigma hit him. Not at all... This is convenient overlook on Clotis' part.

Very well said, STA. Those are some very good insights! :cheer:

This didn't bother me a bit at all, the rabid Cleris in me infact grinned when I read this. I don't so much see it as a sign of incompatibility as Aly did, but rather, it showed how the concept of "Cloud and Aerith" comes naturally to Cloud. When he spotted a ill kid in Aerith's church, Cloud immediately thought Aerith brought the kid to him.

Tifa, on the other hand, was trying to include herself into the equation here. In a way, she desperately wanted to be there for Cloud, be a part of Cloud. But Cloud didn't naturally include Tifa as part of him, unlike how he did for Aerith.

Exactly, STA. However, I see the Tifa's attempt to include herself as part of the equation to be a sign of their incompatibility. If Cloud doesn't include Tifa into the equation naturally, then doesn't that show that he and Tifa have different ideas about their relationship as well as what they want from it?

I got that feeling when Cloud smiled at her, and then left a few days later. It's like Cloud suddenly realized what Tifa wanted out of their relationship, and how differently Tifa saw their relationship. He didn't want to argue about it, or hurt Tifa, but he definitely wanted out. It was easier for him to smile, which would ease her mind, then leave and let her wonder. The only other alternative was for him to confront her with the reality of his feelings vs. her feelings, and Cloud didn't want to deal with that. It was much easier to just leave and let her wonder.

Good thoughts! :cheer:

Actually Denzel looked more like Cloud and Aerith's kid.
No wonder Cloud thought Denzel was brought to him by Aerith -_- I mean look, Denzel has Aerith's hair color (& even little waves reminescent of Aerith's curls) and he has Cloud's blue eyes.

HAHAHAAH I guess Cloti's deserve something once in a while....NOT!!! well I guess it's the fact that I don't like Tifa whatsoever that these things bothered me....and thanx 4 that :D I wish I had you and Aly's CLeris reasoning
