Searching for my light.
wasn't really interesting, makes me agree with science even more. Oh but you forgot dinosaurs.

Nope, dinosaurs were not on the ark, even if it did exist.

Dinosaurs died out long before man came into existence.

Why Mrs. Loz, you've been doing your home work!
Actually, in the book of Job, he recalls seeing lizards with tails that made the ground rumble.
Sounds like a dinosaur to me!

:D
And as for how god created everything, this is god were talking about. If he could turn water into wine, raise the dead, divide 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread between 5,000 men, then he can do anything. :D
You are correct Xemnas , it was written by men, but god told man what to write in it.

I studied dinosaurs long ago, and they died out over time when a comet struck the earth, which blocked out the sun. It was either that or the ice age, ack.

I don't really believe the statement that God told men to do it. Doesn't sound really convincing.

If you still need proof on God not creating the first man and woman, Ill gladly tell you about Prehistoric man.

Your going to try and prove god didn't create man?
With cave men?
And your going to explain it all with science, and how how they THINK man was not creatd by god.
Well, i guess thats your beliefs. Were all different.

And don't you think god has things humans will never understand?

There is physical evidence thank you which proves that cave men existed, that they progressed, evolved.

Skeletons. So there, if you want, I'll go find a website.

But I am never believing that human life started with Adam and Eve. It doesn't seem logical

just a thought: when you read the Bible, you should take it contextually, not literally. :D

Thank you but the whole cave man thing doesn't seem logical to me.
Who cares if they found bones, that doesn't prove anything.

And about the comet blocking out the sun, doesn't make any sense. How do scientists know that? Like they think the earth is like 100 bazillion years old. They don't have any evidence. THEY calculate how old it is.

Yeah, but its way more convincing then some book telling us what happens. What is there to believe, some story or hard evidence that you may, or may not want to believe. But believe this, its not so 'easy' to convince the world of some scientific theories, especially since it began (in the west) in a society with such strong influences through the bible and was strongly discouraged. But they have. Do you know how they calculate it? Do you know how they determine the age of bones, why they believe in evolution, what evidence is there of cavemen, etc? It's pretty strong if you look it up. Not saying that its absolutely correct, even scientist look at it with doubt! That's why they are researching it, they don't believe it through one example and set it in stone. Theories are always changing with new discoveries, drawing us further and further from the bible's 'truth'. Anyway, even though its been proven to be inaccurate sometimes, its still something more than some story.

The fact is this; more and more people are believing less in the bible, and, evidently, more and more people are becoming way smarter than back then and learning the truth about the world. Coincidence? I think not.

I didn't say scientists had the answers to everything, and if you don't want to look at bones to prove that cave men existed and evolved, then I'm sorry.

Haven't you guys thought that the Bible and science might co-exist? seven days for God might be like 700000000000000000000000000 on and on....lol, for us? I dunno, just another thought of mine... :)

Scientists don't just think that the earth is '100 bazillion' years old, they have actual geological evidence to back their theories up. As for us evolving from apes, the formation of the skeletons shows notable similarities between our species and theirs. Man's place in nature.

There's also genetic sequence evidence.

"Comparison of the genetic sequence of organisms reveals that phylogenetically close organisms have a higher degree of sequence similarity than organisms that are phylogenetically distant. For example, neutral human DNA sequences are approximately 1.2% divergent (based on substitutions) from those of their nearest genetic relative, the chimpanzee, 1.6% from gorillas, and 6.6% from baboons.[3] Sequence comparison is considered a measure robust enough to be used to correct erroneous assumptions in the phylogenetic tree in instances where other evidence is scarce.

Source Wikipedia. There's a long page about evolution here with many more examples of evidence.

On the other hand, there is no evidence to suggest that God exists. People have faith that God exists, but they have no physical evidence to back up their beliefs. So saying that you don't believe in evolution due to lack of evidence is a bit of a double standard, isn't it?

Scientists have formed theories about what caused dinosaurs to become extinct, and these theories are also based on physical evidence. They don't just make things up and then put theories out there with nothing to back them up. Some buy into the theory that an asteroid hit the earth, creating the Chicxulub Crater and this played a part in their extinction. Some people believe it was due to rapid changes in the environment.
