How could you not think their isn't a god? Look around you. You don't seriously think this jsut got here, do you? When i study nature and science, i just think how could you not believe . Like if your studying the human body, and all its organs and especially the brain with its nature born conscious mind and all the ways it works, it would have to be done by someone. Their is someone out their who specially designs everyone with their own personality. Its so beautiful in its own weird way

Has anyone seen the movie "The God that Wasn't There"? Documentary of similar style of Bowling for Columbine, or Supersize me, but it critisizes Christianity. It mades some interesting points but they talk fast. It's downloadable through bittorrent. I was pretty shocked that there was such a movie. I mean, for things that critisize guns, or fast food, that's been around and open forever, but as a subject so controversial. It's like critisizing a race (but not quite). Also, a recent book, "The End of Faith" saying how we have to stop believing in such religions got the 2005 PEN Award, another suprise, an anti-religious (anti-christian even) book winning a pen award. I guess it shows the direction the world is going. Not that I'm against it or anything...

Just caus some things cannot be explained by Science, doesn't mean we have to resort to God for the answers. God doesn't really go into depth with answers, and don't Bible quote or Ill run in a oncoming lorry. Some things can never be answered, don't use God as a scapegoat. |

Wahh..wellll...in the bible it took 7 days, lol. hmm...i shall explain in detail later caz i'm studying for my exam. basically, things were created at His command, so it didn't take verryy long.
i dunno about that but i guess it depends on the person. Like, if something impossible happens, an atheist wouldn't think 'this must be God' since they don't believe in Him... wah..exams are tomorrow....>_< hope i get good...and i will return, lol. |

Well the fact that we as humans cannot fathom the entireity of our existance, leaves it open for a god to exist, therefore i shall not go against gods existance.Perhaps or perhaps not, don't want to look like an idiot if I ever do meet him. |

Firstly, God made the world, light, and darkness. He proceeded to make the sky, lakes, land, sea...basically land formations. Then He began to decorate the Earth by adding plants, flowers, fruits, etc. He then made the sun and the moon and stars for night and day. Also, He put animals on the planet, and finally a human, who was made in His image. Adam was the first person, and then Eve. This was all done in six days, and on the seventh day, which is Sunday, i suppose, He rested. Ta-Daa!! the World! lol...^_^ |

Can't do it. I'm just a plain simple human, after all. Still, I wonder why every forum seem to have this topic. At least, every forum that leaves serious discussions unrelated to the forum's more specific topic. If people seem so sure that a higher power, a God cannot exist, why continually ask about it? Why wish to disapprove what others believe? Is it because they, themselves are not really THAT sure of their certainty about it? Okay, didn't really answer the topic. Uhh . . . Yes, I do believe there is a God. I believe that the Bible, like almost everything in this world, cannot be taken at face-value because it holds a deeper meaning that needs careful reading. I think there is a God because I've had too much happiness not to consider having one. Religions, of course, are an entity entirely different from this. Because religions are controlled by humans, which means that said religion's beliefs and motivations are controlled by the leaders' perceptions. At least, in my perspective. |
