Heheh, that was just an example. I just meant in general, people are changing views from the bible (an example being homosexuality =P) and thinking its okay, I was just wondering if that's "allowed", but I guess it's not and people are just making it allowed?

Anyway, I *think* I understand it a bit better. It's very, hm, self guided I guess. No quick answer. ><

As a quick fact, did you know when my Grandmother (not the insanely religious one but the one who knows I'm a dancer) was in high school it was taught as a fact that the greatest societies fell during moral decline. I think it interesting that they taught that then and now they teach kids in school in the state of Georgia how to properly put on a condom.
But then again, I'm just old fashioned.

I'm glad I live a life without god, I'd have a crappy life if he was apart of it. Too boring and dull :D.

Theres no reason out there that makes me wanna believe in him, I prefer to control my own life and not have it govern by an unknown force, that a book tells you about. I actually prefer lucifer over God, seems like a far better choice to believe in.

Boring and dull? Someone has lied to you, I work full time in the ministry and I've seen and done things most people have only dreamt about. I don't think I've ever had a truly dull moment!

And if you believe in Lucifer technically that means you believe if God, doesn't it? Seeing as Lucifer was created by God and can't do anything without his permission.

God doesn't control your life, He just supports you and helps you to choose the right decisions. :D

I make my own choices :D

About Lucifer and god, if I had a choice of who to serve. Lucifer looks more promising, mostly why I tend to be more of a satanist.

Really? I can't image serving Satan... In my opinion that's almost like serving a human! A dim witted human who is afraid of the mere mention of God or Jesus!
But of corse unintelligent people annoy me.

Isn't the bible made by man, it's been changed by man a few times, your following mans words, you have to believe that its god's word.

Just a friendly mod note: Xemnas, please keep comments about spelling and grammar to yourself. Your spelling and grammar aren't 100% perfect either, which has no bearing on the quality of your arguments but does make you look a tad hypocritical. And Nevi, please let's not bring intelligence or 'unintelligence' into this debate. It has no place here.

 I dont get it...you would follow Lucifer, the man that betrayed God, who wanted to take over the Heavens and the Universe which He created? Do you realize that things would be very different if Lucifer had gotten his way? I'm sure that you wouldn't know us, the people you chat with every day on this board, for as you know, Lucifer is a fallen Angel, and if he were the one to take over, the ones who still believe in God would probably never be able to have a life here at all.

Why would you not be able to have a life, I've seen more evil done in the name of god then what he has done.

But you can't prove such things would happen, you only know what you are told, were you there when the events with Lucifer happen do you actually know everything that goes through his mind. You think only bad would come from him, cause thats what you are made to believe.

You said God created everything how? how did he create man? You believe he did, then you should know how.

Hmm..i can't really blame you for thinking that, since not all believers are good examples.

If Lucifer had choosen the good from the start, that would've been great! :) But the problem is that, he didn't. <_<
And as i've said this before -like a million times, ok, well, i'm exaggerating- faith depends on yourself, and no one can make you believe in something. You have to decide to believe or not. Also, faith is a personal thing, so when atheists ask, 'why do you believe?' no one can really answer that question; just give some general answers. YOU have to answer it yourself. Why don't you (people in general) believe? What will make you believe? No one can answer, and maybe you can't either, until some very special event happens. :)

God is God, and we can't understand EVERYTHING with our human minds. He is called God for a reason. :ermm: Hmm..in the Bible it said that God made Adam out of clay/dirt/earth/watever you what to call it and breathed on him, and he beame alive. ^_^ Later He made Eve the same way.

Well you don't need to understand, god is absolute right, so believing without question makes a good follower ^ ^

And that is how man was made to you, okay, was just curious :D
