We are number one. All others are number two, or lower.
Alrighty, I'm definitely still more of a fan of dubbed stuff, but now I can see why some don't like it as much as I've started trying to watch more animes. For me, Card Captor Sakura for example, has been changed far too much for my tastes in the dub, so I watch the subs. However, with Bleach, I really like the dubs, and watch that instead. So it depends on the quality of the VAs more than anything I think. I do think that too many people are too harsh on voice acting, and are arguing over every tiniest thing, rather than just listening. They say that they don't connect at all, but how can you connect if you aren't listening enough to what's said instead of how they sounded?

I guess I haven't watched many badly-dubbed Anime. But, I have seen a couple... *cringes* They were terrible. >.<

But, for the most part, the Anime series that I like have very talented VAs. Then again, I mostly watch the newer series or the ones that have since been re-dubbed (e.g. Yu Yu Hakusho).

Count me in!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Johnny Y. Bosch as Vash. My favorite. Mhmmm. His voice sounds so kind yet sexy when he's serious!! ^_^ There are also many other talented VAs as well, but they are countless, of course.

Welcome, Nina! :hyper: Johnny Bosch has a very cool voice, true. I think Vash will always be my favorite character that he has voiced, though. He did such a great job and Vash is just hysterical when he starts yelling and spazzing out. But, he was also very cool as Kiba (Wolf's Rain).

Haha, you haven't heard ANYTHING yet. Finnish dubs for Digimon are the WORST dubs ever.

I think its because the voices are far too old for pre-teens! TK's supposed to be about 6 or 7 right? Sounds like he's 18 or something! I'm not really a fan of the Digimon's voices echoing to.

Yeah and they seriously don't seem to have much experience on voice acting.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcINhIjAxUA...related&search= <- T.K.'s SO emotional.

*Casts Phoenix Down* C'mon, I know there are more people out there who love the English VAs that dub Anime!

I recently played the games .hack//G.U. and was thrilled to hear so many familiar voices. I especially loved having Johnny Bosch as Kuhn! However, I later watched .hack//Roots and was completely disappointed that there were so many differences between the game and the Anime, VA-wise. The biggest disappointment was Kuhn's VA. No more Johnny Bosch. :grr:

Did anyone else notice that the VA's for Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango were all present in .hack//Roots? Inuyasha's VA (Richard Ian Cox) did multiple characters, including the character who looked like a large pink-haired woman with cat ears. Miroku's VA (Kirby Morrow) was the PK'er with purple hair who helped Haseo (can't remember the dude's name). And Sango's VA was Shino. :ok:

Is there a limit to how many clubs you can join or anything? I just joined the Tidus and Squall clubs not five minutes ago

I VASTLY prefer English voice acting in anime and video games. Occasionally I might use the Japanese voice acting if I learn that the translaters screwed something up (i.e. Atelier Iris 3 had some questionable decisions, and Mana Khemia has a LOT more voice acting in Japanese than in English). But overall, I'd much rather listen in English so that I don't have to try and watch what's going on AND read the dialogue at the same time @_@

Besides, the quality of English voice acting is amazing now that we have people like Yuri Lowenthal and Johnny Yong Bosch doing it. And on that note, Dot Hack GU is an AMAZING trilogy, unlike the first series :D
