*grabs shovel and starts digging again*

I think we should just dig a pathway to the Promised Land! XD

No I was just thinking... Would Cloud wear the same outfit for 2 years? If he won't, then it's not a flashback, right? In the trailers, Cloud is seen riding through the Church without his sleeve, so it could happen then since we see his bike with him in the screen. The bloke could be feeling guilty about destroying the place Aerith loved most. But it has to somehow rain before Cloud decides to leave... The last option is that it's the day after Sephiroth is defeated in AC, and if that's the case, Cloud doesn't die! :woot:

Why would Cloud keep the sleeve on after everyone knows he has Geostigma? He was just wearing the sleeve because he didn't want others to find out that he had Geostigma. Once they find out, there's no reason for him to keep the sleeve on.

Cloud can die of Geostigma just as easily as he can die fighting Sephiroth. He most likely has to fight Jenova, too.

But his arm appears perfectly fine, doesn't it? Unless his Geostigma isn't on his arm...

Yeah, but the scene in the Church appears to be after the City of the Ancients, and he looks pretty healthy there...

He looks healthy when he does that walk down the aisle of the Church with his arm covered, too.

Okies, I shall settle for...
1) You can't see his Geostigma from that angle
2) Geostigma is on some other body part
3) Geostigma wounds aren't open wounds

Whee! Cloud is still going to die!! Must make haste in digging! We wasted too much time deliberating!! *digs*

I'm going to agree with number 3 on your list Clorith. It makes the most sense to me. That one and that you can't see it from that angle if it is an open wound. Other than that, I'm lost to the facts now. I haven't posted in this thread in a while.

Maybe Geostigma doesn't leave visible signs of infection? I always had this thought that Geostigma was kinda like cancer. Maybe that's why Cloud's arm only appears healthy on the outside, but if he let like a doctor scan his arm, or something of that nature, it would show otherwise.

Maybe they decided to change the concept of Geostigma?? Well that's pretty drastic, so maybe not... But did you notice the change in the footage for the E3 trailer? There used to be a little girl with her head all bandaged up, but now we don't see bandages on any of them... Could be nothing, though.

You haven't seen which one? The old screens where they had bandages?

As you can see, they look very different now.
